Poker tourneys chop

payouts $650, $390,$260

Asshole has ~160k. Just took down a massive pot with Ace rag vs KJ getting it allin preflop. LOL @ him commenting on how bad it was to call with KJ. I mean I half believe him but then realized how stupid he was.

I have ~50k.

3rd has ~30k.

3rd throws out let's make a deal. First asks for $575. LOLLLLLL f you buddy.

I threw out $500 for first, and I'll chop the 2nd/3rd amounts. It's not life changing amounts so let's just get the tourney over with.

I should have played it out just to fuck with first place for asking for $575. One double up for me and I'm right back in the game. One of the bottom 2 will make a run, you dont' have it locked up.

The guy actually almost looked like Searles or Neverwin. When we were paid out I made sure to see his name was Paul and not Dustin or Welcher.

Best part was the cheap fucks didn't even tip the dealer. I went down and won another $250 on craps and gave away $100 to the poker dealers who dealt the tourneys.

Online is totally different as you can have several on the go.

Even with a 50% ROI it would still hardly be worth your time long term.

As for the chop.... the reward of watching the dickhead possibly come 3rd due to greed, for me would override the risk of busting 3rd yourself and losing $140 max from your suggested chop amount.

Would you not consider hitting Mexico for 12 months and grind online?

The games have definitely become tougher since 2011 but there's still thousands of fish propping up the tournaments and selected cash games.

You'd likely treble your yearly income and also get a 12 month vacation out of it too.

Unless you've got responsibilities back home then sounds like a no brainer for me.
