I actually wonder if a poker player wrote this.

If it is someone from poker, there's a very high chance the name of the character came from me.

"Dan Druff" is not a common joke name. It's not like "Mike Hunt" or "Al Caholic". I'm not the first to have used it by any means, but given that this is a Vegas show (the city where "Dan Druff" is most likely to be associated with me), I have to wonder.

I'm curious if I really did influence that character. It's possible.

My wife likes The D.

It's def not obscure, either. It was even a garbage pail kids name way back in the day.

Ironically, that name was probably thought up in a gay bar.

All jokes aside The D sucks and any casino that they own are insanely loud even at oddest hours too, but I am interested in the new sportsbook at Circa.

Agree.

Downtown in general is loud and annoying.

They try to promote it as "the way Vegas used to be", but in reality it's just old, unrenovated hotels in an open-air-mall atmosphere, aimed at lower-middle-class clientele.

That's not what old Vegas was about. No thanks.
