Playing an event? Want to tweet about it and have it show up on PFA? Post the event here

I will create a thread for that event, upon request, and you can tweet with the hashtag #pfa(event number)

For example, event #9 would be #pfa09

Using that hashtag will make the tweet automatically post to the thread of that event. We just need to create the thread. So let me know if you're playing something you don't see up here.

If you're playing any of the same events I am (see the buy-a-piece thread), then you can be sure those event threads will exist.

I will typically create them as it gets closer to the events taking place.

I had to do some work tonight, as the new version of the forum (upgraded in January) broke the mod I made which allowed Twitter posts to automatically show up here.

It seems that each year I have to do some work to get it to function again.

Anyway, I tested it, and it's working now. Good to go.

BUMP

I had to do even more work, as it still wasn't completely working. Took me many hours, turned out it was a stupid setting on vBulletin screwing it up (which of course they didn't document properly).

By default, "Convert HTML to BBcode" was on, and it turned out that I had to turn it off, or otherwise it was screwing up the formatting. Without turning it off, the linefeeds would get sucked out of the feed.

Anyway, if you're playing an event, and you don't see the thread up here, and would like to live tweet it with the #PFAxx hashtag, post here or let me know.
