I bet this bullshit TV series won't show what it really costs to be a professional poker player
and probably won't mention that Liv Boeree is a sponsored player and doesn't really pay for her buy-in's.
Instead it will focus on living the good life, flying in helicopers, driving Porsches and staying at expensive Hotels all over the world.
All while not working or hardly ever playing poker and cashing in on the occasional poker tournament.
Liv Boeree won the San Remo EPT 2010 event for $1.67 million in 2010.
Since then she has cashed for about $500k in the last 2 years which would be good except she's paid way more than that in tournament fees.
Kevin Macphee won the Berlin EPT 2010 event for about $1.3 million in 2010.
Since then he has cashed for at least $1 million more in the last 2 years. Better record than Liv but he is not a sponsored player.
I bet that they both come across as douchebags and this show gives another black eye to poker.
