All 4 wheels stolen from car parked in Venetian Las Vegas parking lot

In other news,I got the car towed and the tires replaced. Insurance moved pretty quickly. Insurance said they were not planning to go after The Venetian to recover my deductible. I field a police report but since Venetian just confirmed there is no surveillance footage, the best I can hope for is they catch them trying the same stunt on another car.

Do you have to pay for parking @ Venetian or is that only MGM & CET properties?

I know they do it in teams, but it blows me away how quickly they can do that to a car without being seen. That's like some ninja pit skills type of shit.

Wonder if they were just stock Honda rims, I feel like the aftermarket on those is pretty good.

What are the odds that the guy who reported this theft knew there were no cameras in that parking garage and arranged for some buddies to steal shitty ones he temporarily replaced high priced ones which he had receipts for? #IsItInsuranceFraud?

Venetian doesn't charge for parking.

I am also surprised about no cameras.

There are no cameras in hotel hallways, but mainly because guests who bring hookers back to their room or whatever don't want to feel uncomfortable. That plus the casino doesn't feel the need to monitor the hotel, as there are no tables or cashier cages to rob in the hotel.

But I don't understand why they don't have it in the parking lot.

I wonder how many other properties are the same.

IMHO if you don't charge for parking then you are off the hook. That being said I bet if someone ran out of the casino into the parking garage they would find a few cameras on that they didn't know they had.

The Venetian & Palazzo are now a little less hooker friendly. You can no longer use an inactive room key to get past the security guard at the elevator banks. You need to have an active key to get by the security guard. They make you scan the key on a reader and it will show a green light if it is active.

There are cameras in the parking garages of all of our 3 casinos here, but, again it is Detroit.

Funny story, I use to park at Greektown casino anytime I went to meet up with my Canadian gf (at the time), so I parked and she had text me that the tunnel bus was running late, it being mid February (fucking cold) at the time, I sat in my car and waited. It took all of maybe 7 minutes before I had security knocking on my window asking me what I was doing, after telling him to fuck off and shew'd him away, waited about ten more minutes before exiting my car. Then I see this dumbass hiding behind a pillar with his bike. So naturally I tell him on your bike cock sucker.

I just thought there were probably more pressing concerns he, as a security guard for a casino, him doing this was just odd to me. And every time I saw this little dork, (which was a lot) I'd tell him ON YOUR BIKE. he hated me, but must've thought I was an addicted gambler so never really barred me from entering or parking, whether I went in the casino or not.

idk why they wouldn't have cameras. Most of those garages have security guys on bikes riding around. So it's not because they're too cheap or don't care.
