Ivey is appealing the judgment. He is not making a motion to dismiss. He made one before trial and it was denied. There is a big difference. His appeal does not stay enforcement of the judgment. That’s why Borgata has moved to enforce the judgment in Nevada. If you want some input during the show on the issue, give me a call. Listened for an hour last week, but the show and topics move to slow for me. I think you could really use a cohost to keep you on task. Not saying I could do better, just giving you my opinion.

Yeah I knew that. I don't know why I wrote "motion to dismiss". I was aware it was an appeal. I was tired when I made up the agenda.

Regarding the show length, it's a longform show. It's not for everyone. Some topics move slowly, others move faster (you can see by the timestamps). Part of the reason the timestamps exist is so people can jump around if a topic doesn't interest them, or is moving too slow for their liking.

The Rio would then be obligated to turn the money over the Clark County sheriff or US Marshall, depending on procedure. Ivey could stop enforcement of the judgment by posting the 10 million with the court, or buying a bond, which is cost prohibitive here.

We had another attorney on (Eric Bensamochan) on a recent show and he talked about the above.

For this reason it's highly unlikely Ivey will play any tournament poker anywhere in US for long time, perhaps ever.

Agreed even though Druff incorrectly calling the arrest of the wrong guy in that serial rape case who happen to fit the description of the suspect as a “false” arrest.

Darren Lara/Darren Attebery got some PFA Radio rungood, managing to win his first WSOP ring, exactly a week after appearing on the show.

It was a tag team event, hence the other guy being in the picture too.
