Based on your comments not worth it, the big benefit for me would be during next years wsop, if i go out for a month as a seven star I assume I can get much if not all of the rooms compd. Other then that, there's no need for rooms and not much interest in a cruise. So looks like 80k mark is sufficient for me.

Again, the most important takeaway here is that your card status has NO EFFECT on your comps, aside from the comps guaranteed by the Seven Stars program.
It is not uncommon that gold card members (bottom tier) get better offers than Seven Stars.
Yea thanks for the info, looks like a real pain. The only alternative I can think of and not sure you can even do this. This would only cover a little less than half a month. For the 40k aspiration level and 80k aspiration level it says you get four complimentary nights for each. Can you book these back to back for 8 days followed by another 4 days for being a seven star? Even if I decide not to make seven star can I book both aspiration offers back to back for 8 straight days?
Nope. CET will never comp you for more than 5 days straight through any of these offers, and you can't back-to-back them anymore.Quote:

By "someone else in authority", I mean someone high at the hotel level if you had some kind of major problem with your stay, where they could stick in those middle 2 nights for free and not affect your next booking. Bob Dancer annoys me sometimes. He went rambling on about how hosts can get you "$10,000 to $20,000 worth of value per year", and if they can't, you need a different host.
And he was referring to Caesars properties hosts when he said that.

This is totally untrue. Hosts at CET properties are highly restricted these days regarding what they can offer you, and they are basically tied to your AMT (average marketing theoretical -- basically how much the casino makes on you per day after comps and expenses). So the only way your hosts are getting you anything good is if you're a sick gambler and play at a huge expected loss. (Notice I said EXPECTED loss, not actual loss, as the "expected" or "theoretical" loss is what's important to them.)
Dancer also advises people to ask the host for things after you lose, rather than when you win or break even. Again, that's old school thinking and generally does not work anymore.
You aren't getting $10k or $20k in yearly benefits out of your hosts anymore, unless your theoretical loss is several times that amount.
Anyway, Darryl McEwen is a smart guy and I agree with most of what he said so far in this podcast. However, as I've mentioned before, Darryl is NOT an advantage player or comp whore, so his advice is more informative/procedural rather than telling you how to squeeze the most out of the Total Rewards program.
You can't take anything Bob Dancer says at face value. He's a casino consultant. His experience is not in any way representative of common players. It's frankly repugnant watching the preferential treatment he gets at casinos who pay him to be their hype man.Quote:

$2K for 20 nights at Rio is insane. You can rent a nice studio at Palms Place for $2K and not have to check out every 4 days.
The 7* program is appealing to me because they are guaranteed benefits for a fairly long time without me being required to keep playing in order to continue qualifying for them.Quote:

$2k for 20 nights at the Rio averages to $100/night. It's actually more than $2k, as some of the nights are very expensive (often over $200) during busier WSOP times.
The Rio is very very convenient for the WSOP.

and for stud the ante is 3 dollos or about 90 a hour at 20-40
. in a 10 hour game you pay 140 to play in time in stud for 10 hours you got to overcome 900 in antes tough
