There is no way the people who used that erroneous freeroll play believed that they legitimately deserved to receive it. As such, by using it to play with, they were commiting theft. This is no different than if an ATM mistakenly spits out more money than is in your account and you walk away with it. I’m wondering how the Indian reservation would handle this re their criminal code.Quote:

With casino freeplay, one could use the defense that they simply didn't know what they were expecting, and simply showed up to the kiosk to check. Should it be up to the player to sanity check it? I'm not sure. For 10x the amount, definitely not. For 100x... well, that's a tougher one.
Fuck them. Play it and cash it out as quickly as possible.
Indian casinos in CA aren't even required to publish their return to player % as far as I know. I would take them for every penny I could.
my aunt once took out cash withdrawal from a teller in a car. the teller handed her the envelop and the bills were so new they stuck together, erroneously giving her an exta hundo. she gave it back.
i would say fuck the casino in this situation as well
