Two MLB bets:
One for the adventurous, one for the grinder.
The adventurous:
Miami (P. Lopez) +165 at Mets (Carrasco) - First 5 innings
The grinder:
Detroit (Wentz) -110 vs Kansas City (Greinke)

I wanted the under in the Tigers game @ 8 but it’s 7.5. Weather.
I have -118 Tigers so pass.
Marlins cannot score. Maybe a first 5 RL. Mets still in a fight.
I did this overnight. Cards prolly don’t care. I like the total but not 8.5 now.
I got some shameful preseason hockey. Only simp would care. It’s more of an investment in my NHL 2022/3 education
Marlins took it first-5, but not without some drama. They let a 4-0 lead slip to 4-3 in the 4th, thanks to Pete Alonso. They added two in top-5, though, so they safely were ahead 6-3 after 5. Nice.
Detroit seemed dead. 3-0 and Greinke was cruising, after 7. Then Mike Matheny made the ultimate Greinke mistake -- he left him in when Greinke was tired.
:baddecision
I've seen this play out a million times as a Dodgers fan. When Greinke is running low on gas in the 7th-9th, you pull him. Always.
Well, they didn't, and the Royals scored 3. Miggy then blew it and lined out to end the threat.
Currently in that stupid extra inning shit with a runner on 2nd. Detroit wormed out of 1st/2nd with 1 out, and they're up, and just need to push the run home to win my other one.
I got some ego to dismiss Druff picks. I ain’t that good.
Druff is the wagering king. This has been so much fun.
Wow... I screwed myself hard today.
I went 2-0, right?
Not so fast. I went on the betting site, and I went 1-1. What?!
I looked more closely and I had left "first 5 innings" selected from the Marlins bet, so my Tigers bet was first 5 innings, not full game. So that exciting comeback from 3-0 was meaningless for me. I had already lost. So frustrated right now. I usually check these, but somehow let this one get by. One time I even caught the wrong bet on this site and called them quickly, and they agreed to reverse it. Obviously now it's way too late. Totally just threw money away.
What sucks about this mistake, too, was that there were several outcomes which wouldn't have mattered. It could have both lost first-5 and the game, and it would have been neutral. Or it could have won first-5 and the game, again being neutral. Or I could have gotten lucky, with Detroit being up or tied after first-5, but ultimately losing. Here was the only result I could have had which fucked me -- behind after 5, winning the game.
This is infinitely more frustrating than if the game just lost.
:fail2
The edges are so thin in sportsbetting, if at all, that you can't do this to yourself.
This will take awhile for me to get over.
Alright my fat fingered friend ….
Washington Nationals team total over 3½ +110
For your simple amusement look at Nats full game ML then F5. Knew you would understand.
Last year the sharp guys (meaning me) were parlaying Giants/Dodgers every night. Wanna do Braves Mets but I have declining testorene as the years roll by. Still eyeing live Braves after 5 as a plan.
Please advise Druff and San.
Jays / Yankees over 7
Yankees clinched last night and drank beers. Are they bringing their A game?
Mitch White can be counted on for 3-5 runs if the Yankees didn’t party that hard.
Rizzo torres Stanton sitting maybe more.
Just goofing around until playoffs start with the teams who have strong incentive to win. Had the same bet on braves last night and woke up to comfortable 6 run win. I’ll give them another go and figured I’d take both end of the last pennant race also. Think Braves eventually surpass them, but betting on not yet tonight.

Oh, I believe Braves win in the end. 10-5 would be great.
Hey Simp, how you feel about Druff coming for your stupidity wagering crown? I just can’t with those two teams. There are several bans and restraining orders between the two. Don’t you find the 7 suspicious?
Saw a claim that more Judge HR props were bet last night than any individual side. Fandual gave a gimmick refund. Crazy
Free rolling the over 7 now. Finally got to Cole.
I bet the wrong side a few times a football season. I have done it once so far this season, and the bet won, where I should have lost. Shrug. I also will periodically accidentally double bet (do the same bet twice) and even very rarely accidentally bet both sides of the same game. But I dont pretend to have any edge, so whatever.
Yesterday on a whim I bet Judge O1.5 total bases -150, and he walked 4 times and I lost. LOL What a stupid prop that is.
Today I saw the bet was down to -115 and I decided to pass for some reason, and of course he homered.
Short notice, but...
Cincinnati -4 vs Miami
Two baseball picks:
Marco Gonzalez has just 94 K in his 171 innings pitched, and has given up 15 hits in his last 2 starts combined (11.1 innings). While I see opponent Jon Gray as overrated, he has given up 2 runs or fewer in 5 of his 7 last starts, and 1 or fewer in 4 of his last 7.
Dodgers/Padres have a bullpen game on both sides. The Dodgers are fielding a pretty strong lineup despite these games being meaningless, other than extending their franchise win record. The Padres, however, also don't have much to play for. They're pretty much locked into the #2 wildcard spot, ahead of both the Phillies and Brewers by 3 games, with just 7 to play. BOTH of these teams would have to catch the Padres for them to lose their playoff spot, and they will be on the road in their first round series no matter what.
Texas (Jon Gray) +112 at Seattle (Marco Gonzalez)
Dodgers +120 -1.5 at Padres (NOTE: this is an "action" bet, as the starting pitchers don't matter, since they will only go 1-2 innings)
