Apparently the casino and cash games were running, despite these "technical difficulties" with the tournament.
People were saying there was a $500,000 overlay.

All I’ve heard is how party poker is more player friendly then stars and they’re making strides to improve the player pool. Welp, there goes any credibility party poker had. Even if there was real “technical issues” no one would believe it with that big of an overlay. Just another poker room/casino taking advantage of people.Quote:

Given Mike Sexton is the face of Party Poker now. He needs to get ahead of this and explain what the hell happened and is going on.. Mike's always been an upstanding guy never appeared to be the kind of person that would condone unethical behavior and always been considered one of the nice guys in poker both as a player and commentator during his time at WPT.. Has anybody heard or contacted Sexton to ask him about this situation..
