Didn't take any bad beats, either.
I just realllly did badly regarding both running into huge hands pre and missing flops (or them hitting way better than me).
But I survived, cashed, and have average chips coming into Day 4 (385k), so it could be worse.
High chips was 550k for me.
I spent almost the entire day above the 300k mark I came in with.
I did run a nice bluff late in the day on a JJ6 board against two people when I had air.
Day 3 has tortured me this decade. After making mid-late Day 6 in 2010 (88th), I made Day 3 in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2017, all with reasonable chips, and failed to cash all four times. Had things gone a little differently, I could have cashed in 6 of the 10 Mains in the 2010s. Instead I'll have to settle for 2-for-10. Still, I'd love to make this one a deep run, and will need some luck going forward.
This is my second consecutive WSOP cashing 4 times, despite entering a limited number of events.
