Only a miracle would save him. Who is gonna replace him in a month or so. Hmmm.
Fuck, I didn't realize it was that bad.
The median survival rate for stage 4 pancreatic cancer is between two and six months. Though the disease cannot be cured at this stage, treatment may improve your quality of life.
https://www.healthline.com/health/pa...tage-4#outlook
The last thing you want to hear out of your doctor's mouth is pancreatic cancer because by the time you have any symptoms it's everywhere. Lung cancer the other one you don't want to hear. Those are the two where there isn't much hope. Nothing compares to pancreatic though. There are some rare cancers where it's close to 0% survival rate but they're so rare it isn't worth discussing. Most people have someone they know who has had either lung or pancreatic. I feel bad for the poor bastard. Your doctor tells you that you have full blown aids and it's an upgrade from this times a thousand.
That's exactly what I said when I looked up stage 4 cirrhosis when the doctor said my father had it. I was like okay no big deal we can get through this shit. Then I looked it up and said oh shit this isn't good. That was one year and quality of life was less than shit final couple months. His wasn't even mostly alcohol related. Hep C plus he did drink but nothing serious. No way he gets that disease without having Hep C. When the doctor tells you to stop drinking because if you don't you're dead in 30 years you listen. That's moral of that story.
I was going to be 3d person to post this

Answer: He'll be dead in six months.
Question: Who is Alex Trebek?
No, only kidding.
I really hope he beats it.
But why on earth did his doctors catch it so late?
I would think that he has the best doctors in the U.S. and Canada. If they can't detect that you have stage 1 or 2 pancreatic cancer then what the fuck good are they? How come they couldn't detect it until stage 4? There is no stage 5.
The good news is that he has plenty of life insurance.
He is on TV everyday pitching "life insurance" for 9.99 per month.

Watched the show last week, hadnt seen it in years, he looked sick as a dog
Last time I watched the show was when Alex Jacob went all GTO and rattled the Jeopardy cage.
Normally, I lunge for the clicker if Jeopardy somehow makes it to the screen. Trebek’s tone was one of extreme seriousness. Like they were curing cancer?
It was a game show but Trebek fought to bring a pompous air to the nonsense.
Loved watching Alex Jacob destroy the game. Kid crushed. It was a good take
Hopefully Trebek going public helps someone in the audience do some screening and maybe save a life or family.
LOL...I guess most of the nerds on Jeopardy, really suck at sports and have no clue about what any of it means.
After seeing this compilation of Alex Trebek pronouncing “genre” as if he’s speaking in French has me wondering if the cancer isn’t some sort of karmic payback for him being a cultural snob.
