I have my June trip just about all planned out. If I find myself not playing a final table on Friday before I Fly out Saturday I have decided to play a low stress $365 PLO8 at Binions and do the whole drunk Freemont street thing.
Seems like the Golden Nugget is the top property on sight. Anyone ever stay at any other the other properties? Wondering if it's worth the extra $125 to stay at the nugget or not.
I've stayed at the Plaza on my first ever trip to Vegas. Never again, although I heard they did an extensive renovation. Best place to valet a car downtown though, IMO.
I had a buddy & his wife stay @ 4 Queens & was in their room & it seemed okay. They had nothing bad to say about it either.
4 Queens also has a William Hill in it, which is great for prop bets so long as it's not the NFL draftQuote:

As far as the Nugget, make sure they don't put you facing over the street, or it's going to be really noisy, especially if you face the church, which you will hear if you are close the end of the LONG hallway.

Usually Freemont doesn't have resort fees compared to the strip places.. Add the resort fees and their parking added on and suddenly those strip prices look damn close to Freemonts.. Difference is Freemont is straight up honest about their prices while Strip as usual tries to bury the real costs of your stay under resort fees and parking (which most people pay because the avg joe isn't a high tier players card member)Quote:
