you would think a republican would have an advantage just based on a law and order platform, with your safety being important. but i'm not so sure new york city ever wants to be great again.

I don't know if he'd make a good mayor of NYC but much like Biden, all the next mayor has to do is not be a complete fuckup and he'll already be an improvement over the last guy.
Unfortunately, running for public office as an intellectual usually is a failure.
Bill de Blasio should be finished as mayor of New York but people will be confused because he has a black wife and appears to be a Democratic progressive.
