NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Weekly news magazine Newsweek announced Thursday it will shift to online-only publication next year, discontinuing its print version after 80 years.

It's no Time but still a bit of a shocker.
Newsweek and Time both blow. Regardless, this is the future of most publications.

It's funny. Back in the mid '80s, I actually respected both Time and Newsweek. I was young and naive, and figured that the magazines' prominence and high circulation meant respectability.Quote:
