I refused to remove the thread, but told him I would post an update about it supposedly being resolved amicably, which both parties publicly stated to Cardplayer.
Always got kind of a shady vibe from the guy, like he was a hair away from being part of a big scandal.
I played with him once -- at the WSOP in 2016. He didn't last long, but was talkative and pleasant the entire time.

Ive played many a private cash game with Maurece. I guess the get along thing to say would be how bad a guy he is……. But to be honest he is great to play with. Genuinely good guy with lots of interesting and well thought out shit to say. Hard to shit post him honestly.

Im involved with Many a sportsbook people in so florida. The guy is on a cash up front basis with everyone. Hes owed in the past and obviously everyone reads the stories so hes got a bad rep with payback and its my second hand understanding that its well deserved.
I mean where there is smoke there is fire. Just too many people out there saying the same thing. Ill continue to play with him and be happy to do so…… but 0% id let him play on credit.

Best thing in the world for him would be to FT the main - pay off all creditors and work on a “brand” where he is a good guy.
