Jean Robert Bellande, Vanessa Selbst to enter $1 million One Drop WSOP event

Jean-Robert Bellande has bought in to the $1 Million One Drop event. Vanessa Selbst has also bought in, as have 28 others.

There is some chance that Selbst bought herself in (she's bought into big events before), but I have to imagine that $1 million is too much for her, and that again, Laliberte bought her in to add intrigue of having a (really good) female player in the field.

Pretty tough field.

Believe it or not, I think Jean-Robert Bellande has most or all of himself in this tournament.

Yes, you read that right.

I cannot state the reasons without violating certain confidences, but I do have sound reason to believe that JRB isn't as broke as he makes himself out to be, and might actually have more of himself than most pros in the field!

This is further bolstered by the "buying in with cash" pic. If Guy Laliberte was sponsoring JRB, it is unlikely that he would have gone through the trouble of getting JRB mounds of cash for this photo op. He would have simply wired the money and been done with it.

JRB bought in with cash because I believe he is doing it on his own. I'm not saying he has 100% of himself (but it's possible), but I think he does have a healthy percentage, which should make this tournament REALLY interesting if he runs deep.

his twitter alludes to the fact that he has ran it up lately.

If he's playing with rich businessmen using Dan Bilzerian's money...it's not hard to guess he could have a few mill to his name. Fairly recently he posted a pic of a Bentley with license place JRBROKE (but also could have just been one in parking lot).

Also directly on wsop.com this was news, so he could have easily earned $50k just for this photo with cash signing up.

Bilzerian posted on his instagram a few weeks back that jrb won like 10 bentleys or something in their game

Philipp Gruissem is/was only living in the UK but is also German.

Kurganov/Gruissem/Reinkemeier stick together for years.
