Hell or High Water:
An art film for sure. Finally a movie based on a plot with great acting. It's not the best movie I have ever seen, but after years of movies with mindless car chases, random fights, batman, and movies about historical wars, its nice to see something with a plot with a deeper meaning.
I won't do any plot spoilers, but if you liked a movie like Shawshank Redemption, this is a must see. Some of the best acting I have seen in quite a while, Jeff Bridges is at the top of his game. The last dialogue between the Ranger and the perp is simply awesome, finally a subtle cliffhanger. Movie of the year.
