This could be prevented if they stationed guards right at all of the exits, but I just don't think it's a priority.
$50,000 is nothing to a huge casino like Bellagio.
Except this guy was an "armed robber", pretty sure casino security are unarmed, and are not even allowed to interfere with a guy wheeling a gun running out the door. That is what the cameras are for.Quote:

Kansas Department of Corrections records show Carmitchel served time for battery against a law officer and a robbery in 1998, and he was sent to prison last year for making a criminal threat.
He was paroled in December and the department listed him as "absconded" with his whereabouts unknown as of May 29.
