The DOJ raid was by the STATE DOJ, not the federal one.
Towers Casino is a poker room located in Grass Valley, CA, which is in the greater Sacramento area. It is NOT an Indian casino, so it has no ability to ignore California state laws and regulations like the Indian ones do.

Wow, I was of the opinion that most if not all casino's would not offer poker in 2020. I always felt casinos did not make a lot money with poker and this pandemic is a perfect opportunity not offer it to their customers. I am in Connecticut and on June 1 Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun are opening. No bars, NO booze, NO buffets, No Restaurants and NO POKER. Take out food only?
