Would you go to Vegas?

Imagine you've had a negative COVID test, two doses of vaccine, and a test that showed positive for antibodies.
Would you be tempted to go to the Venetian in February for the Deepstacks Extravaganza?
Add these bits of information:
You can stay at Harrah's or the Linq, virtually next door, for $10 per night with Diamond status (no resort fee)
It looks like COVID numbers have started declining.
It looks like they are doing a better job of dealing with the violent crime problem.
You can get there from northern CA in 90 minutes for around 60 bucks on Sprint.

Am I crazy for considering it?

(This is assuming, of course, that you are no longer boycotting Venetian now that Sheldon is gone.)

I was there Jan 10th and this past weekend. There was nothing wrong with being there. I played a lot of cards and the poker is extremely soft. Easy to get paid off and I did pretty well. I’m considering going back in march

Fremont Street was the only area that I see anything bad happen. I seen a phone gets stolen and a purse got stolen and both guys get tackled. The strip felt completely safe

They've had multiple Venetian Deepstack tournies over the past 6 months with very good turnout from what I can tell - a lot of the LA/California regs going since there's nothing going on live here in California. I've been tempted to go each time but am a little older (older than Druff) and keep talking myself out of it.

Not once have I read about any super spreader type event arising from the Venetian events. In fact, I keep checking but I could not find anyone claiming they actually got the virus/sick from playing in those tournies.

So I guess it's relatively safe? If/when I get the vaccine I plan to be there for sure (still with a mask).

Lost the desire to go to Vegas long before COVID 19. It's a 5 1/2 hour flight. Yes, I can stay for free at the ARIA anytime I want, but, I live in South Florida. I can drive 20 minutes to either MIA or FLL. I can do the same for Port Everglades or Port of Miami. I can drive 15 minutes and be at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood. From FLL, I can board a Jet Blue flight and be in Nassau in 37 minutes. From MIA, I can be in Cancun in 1 1/2 hours. From FLL I can be in New Orleans in 2 hours. I can be in Aruba or Antigua in 3 hours. I can literally walk to Gulfstream Park and bet the horses or play cards while watching and betting the Simulcasts from all over. Why the hell would I want to go to Vegas and waste a whole fucking day travelling?

I love to play at hard rock Tampa, the games are always good and it’s one of my favorite rooms. I like it being separated from the casino. I might fly to clear water in 2-3 weeks, if I do I’ll have a few stops at that room
