Chat not working for me...

I occasionally get messages in chat but cannot view them? Any ideas? I am using firefox as my browser...

By chat I mean the messenger bar on the bottom for the pm's, I should have clarified that. I will try a different browser though and see if it works.

any possible extensions blocking this, like NoScript or AdBlock? Is the entire bar gone, or do you at least have the chat bubble in the bottom right?
