No radio this week

I guess having four polyps cut out of your colon isn't a totally trivial matter.

I've had a lot of abdominal pain ever since, and have just had general fatigue. Also, I've had a headache I can't get rid of, and I'm not allowed to take aspirin or Advil until Friday.

I did say over the past month or so that radio might not happen this week, and indeed that's the situation. Tentatively, the next radio will be on Friday, January 29.

I am eating normally and don't have a fever, so I'm not all that worried. I have a feeling that cutting the big polyp at the farthest inside point of my colon probably is causing my body to react to the irritation.

I actually do have a pic of the polyp. They took a ton of pics in there and they're printed on a paper they gave me at discharge.

What's the downside of taking Advil after colonoscopy?

Are they worried you're going to bleed out?

Yes, I have to go back in 3 years.

I believe the pain is related to the fact that one of the polyps was large, as well as the fact that the same polyp was as deep into the colon as it possibly could be. This probably caused some irritation to the area. It does seem that the pain has somewhat decreased today (after peaking last night at about 8pm), so that's a good sign.

Rest up, drink some more Gatorade sans laxative this time, hear ya next week.

Much like all the alcohol you consume daily yes Ibuprofen like other NSAIDS are a blood thinner. Druff you should at least take some Tylenol it won’t help entirely but it should help the headache.
