Moore Games goes offline, still owes players money

Moore Games, a Swedish-based, non-US-facing poker room on the iPoker network, has gone completely offline.

If you go to their website: https://www.mooregames.com/ ... you will get an error message.

It is a very strange situation.

Here's the timeline:

July, 2012: Moore's CEO Samir Mujagic claims that they were unfairly kicked off the iPoker network, while Playtech (the company behind iPoker) refuses to comment on the matter.

There are rumors that iPoker kicked Moore off the network for various violations, including:

- Collusion
- Fraud
- Allowing players to play on the network while in the US, specifically at the WSOP in 2012

Moore Games CEO Samir Mujagic then claims that Playtech (iPoker) is holding all of the money, and Moore can't pay anyone until it's released.

August, 2012: Supposedly Moore came to an agreement with Playtech to release the player funds they were temporarily holding. Apparently Playtech was holding hostage the "reconciliation money" for that month (the money skins temporarily owe each other due to differences in player winnings). Playtech supposedly released this money, and Moore reopened their cashier for players to cash out. Moore does not have an active poker room anymore, but continues to run a sportsbook and casino.

May, 2013: Moore Games goes completely offline. Players are still owed money. No word is given why this happened or how/when players will get paid.


In general, you are a fool if you play on any sportsbook/casino that is small. In fact, you're a fool to play any casino games online (as they can easily be rigged), and if you're going to bet sports, make sure it's with a big, reputable company.

Online sportsbooks have an amazingly high failure/scamming rate, and are much worse than poker rooms.
