This site is actually run on a quality dedicated server, not some shared hosting BS. That's why it almost never goes down, runs at a decent speed, and is capable of streaming the radio show without crashing.
I pay over $1000 per year for the site's expenses, which while not backbreaking, is more than just pocket change.
I have turned down many ads from shady casino/poker sites which could have allowed this site to profit. The few ads I have taken here are from companies that look trustworthy. I do this because I give a shit about my users and don't want to contribute to anyone getting cheated, even if I could otherwise get richer from running the ads.
Instead of having the obnoxious, entitled belief that you are somehow entitled to some of my money, how about appreciating that:
1) I operate this site at a loss because I care more about the users than turning this thing into a profitable business
2) I donate a lot of my time to run this site and do the radio show every week
3) I let you and other longtime trolls of mine post here, because I care more about good content and this little community than I do about holding online grudges
4) Rather than sell hats for profit, I gave them away to the userbase here at my own cost for both the hats themselves and shipping
It's funny because whenever YOU run various failsites, you always complain how it's harder to do than it appears, how it takes a lot more time than people think, how it's so hard to please everyone, etc. So you actually have an idea what it's like to run a site like this, and yet you forget what you learned from your own experience of doing so and bitch at me here.
I laugh at you all trying to use logic with a guy who doesn't think at all let alone logically.
