Weird situation regarding the size of the house.
It is listed as 3,001 square feet, yet the for-sale listing claims that the "owner claims it's 4200". What?!

It's techinically in Malibu, but is miles from the beach.
Not surprising because a chip runner at Commerce talked tons of trash about Prahald to Dee, and she just giggled. This was not too long before they got married. (I think this was in 2004 or 2005.)
Prahlad was an unknown at that point, and Dee was playing in my game (I think 80-160 limit), sitting next to me. Prahlad was also in the room, but a few tables down playing NL.
A chip runner who knew Dee from the past approached her and said hello. Apparently he hadn't seen her in awhile. After BSing back and forth, he asked her if she was seeing anyone. She pointed to Prahlad.
The chip runner responded, "What?! Him?! Him?! You've gotta be kidding me. Seriously, that's who you're with?"
He then proceeded to talk all kinds of crap about Prahlad, and instead of defending him, she just giggled as the chip runner bashed him, and then finally weakly offered a defense like, "Oh, well he's a really nice guy though. You have to get to know him." But it seemed like that was more defending her choice than Prahlad himself. I could just tell from the whole exchange that she didn't have much respect for him.
I was surprised when I heard years later that they were married. I had assumed by the way she reacted to that chip runner that they would be breaking up within a few weeks.
Prahlad's promotion of UB was the worst. It was worse than Sebok or any of the others. This is because he was a huge 6-figure victim of the cheating, and was (along with Brad Booth) somewhat the "face" of the UB superuser scandal. When he did an about-face and promoted them as "The New UB", this was beyond unethical. This was worse than any of the other UB pros, because they weren't vicitms -- or if they were, it wasn't for very much. Here was Prahald, the guy who had $500k or more stolen from him, and he was now promoting that same site, insisting that it was under new management. Many naive people thought, "Wow, if the biggest victim of the cheating feels safe representing them now, I guess I can trust them, too."
Turned out the whole thing was a lie and there was no "new UB". And that evidence was presented to Prahald, who dismissed it and told everyone to go stick it up their collective asses.
Even worse, Prahlad was a longtime progressive, left-wing, anti-corporate activist. His entire being was dedicated to sticking up for the little guy. He even refused to take any sponsorships for years prior to joining UB, claiming that he didn't want to be a corporate sellout.
And then he sold out to the most evil poker corporation of them all. And he knew it, but he didn't give a crap because he was greedy.
I hope the new Webster's dictionary puts a picture of Prahlad under the phrase "limousine liberal", because that's exactly what he is.
She is also 10 years older than him.
He's 35, she's 45.

Do either of them even play poker anymore? I do not recall seeing any Asian chicks in the top section that look like her. Prahlad would actually be more difficult to spot (for me at least), because he looks like a ton of guys that play 10-20 NL.
On a side note, Russell Westrook has been playing 10-20 NL a lot. He is actually still limping around a little bit, although he is not on crutches.

the first time i saw dee she was dating Huck, right around the time he won the WSOP. The bellagio wasn't built yet I don't think, but she was playing the highest limit hold'em game at the Mirage (40-80 I think). She looked great back then and I later heard she broke Huck's heart.
I remember Huck was playing short handed mixed games and he had more chips than I had ever seen in my life in front of him at that point so it might of been after he won the main event. He was playing 400-800 short handed and as an uninitiated neophyte to the Vegas scene, I was mesmerized by both of them, how high they were playing, etc, etc. This was 1996, pre poker and Internet anything really, and the 2 of them were true poker celebrities in my mind. The scamming, thieving, looting, self-involved, narcissist, ESPN-created poker celebrities who came long after them shouldn't be trusted to run their chips, much less keep their ill-gotten hundreds of millions. Team Full Tilt and their looted, stolen millions can suck my dick.

I think dumbass Prahlad felt it was boosting his ego to have her flaunting like that, and he didn't realize what it really meant. He's always been super delusional about everything, so none of this is a surprise. It's amazing that he was able to succeed in poker when he lacks critical thinking skills in every other area.

The article kinda glosses over his "return to UB" (ignoring the fact that he became the FACE of UB after the scandal, and then everyone got cheated a second time).
Apparently Prahlad also had dreams of making the NBA, which is laughable, since he's not that tall and from what I've seen, not one of those super-athletic guys who can make up for it. He is good at free throws, though, I'll give him that.
Also the last few years haven't been too kind to him. This was taken in 2019, just three years after the "Hazy Eyez" video where he looked pretty good for 38.
