Wife of Andre Kirilenko allows him to cheat "once a year"

While many NBA wives get cheated on far more than once per year, this is pretty LOL.

They have been married for 12 years.

Not sure how it is in Russia, but in certain foreign cultures, sometimes the men are allowed to cheat an unlimited number of times, as long as they stay with their wife and keep their responsibilities to the family.

I do have a hard time believing that Kirilenko only uses his cheating "just once" per year.

I always felt that pro athletes were stupid to get married while they were playing. They should just have all the fun they want during their playing years, and only enter serious relationships after retiring.

If you offered me to bet whether he cheats on her at least once every 5 days I would take the under.

I think this is only a story because of the Russian aspect. Plenty of veteran players in all sports take some form "hometown discount" to play where they want or to chase a ring. Ray Allen just did it last season.

maybe his sex drive is a lot higher than hers, maybe sex isnt that important to her, maybe she is a realist, maybe she sees it as a bargaining chip, he probably so grateful at his wifes offer that he probably has taken her up on it, she loves money


what about politicians/business women/men of power, women know what they are getting themselves into, all they ask for is discretion and for the partner not to embarrass them publicly

Yeah, I heard that verbatim from some ESPN guy too.

But come on. Kirilenko was primed to get overpaid after a pretty good season in Minnesota. He left a SHITLOAD of money on the table, much more than Ray Allen did, for a team that still isn't going to win the title.

Lot of questions surrounding Prokorhov's money, etc. Plus it's more fun to think Russian conspiracy. I'm glad it worked, makes the Nets a legit contender for the #3 seed.

People that grant their partner permission to cheat have already cheated on their partner.

Pro move KGB-level reverse psychology. She just took half the fun away giving him permission, and if he gets caught up in some scandal, she doesn't have to look stupid. She'll just say it was his one night.

Of course that is the reason. This isn't his hometown, NJ isn't a FA destination, and they are certainly aren't putting that last piece of the puzzle together like the Heat thought they were doing w/Ray Allen.
