I didn't get to see the rest of the clip with Massie because it cuts off.
But he doesn't have it right about MTG, Boebert, and Mace. He thinks they feel obligated to speak up for women, but that's bullshit. Those three are huge narcissists and are only out for themselves. They don't give a shit about other women.
They co-sponsored it because all three of them are brash outsiders whose profile rises when they can kick up mud, so that's what they're doing. None of those three are ever going to be part of the GOP establishment, so they might as well be muckrakers. That's the correct answer.
The other part of the answer is that it's not so much about them fearing Trump, but rather Trump fearing the ones on the list. In politics, it's a "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" situation, so it's simply not good politics to throw important figures in your own party under the bus, and to make it clear to everyone else not involved that you won't have loyalty to them. If Trump is to get cooperation from other GOP bigwigs, he needs to play ball and show that he's a team player.
I don't believe he did anything bad with Epstein. I do believe he hung out with Epstein enough to where it would look bad if fully understood, and was definitely aware of what Epstein was about (hence his later distancing from him). So he would have to field questions as to why he kept associating with a pedo, and then face more questions if he did any of that himself, even though he probably didn't.
Remember, if there was dirt to be had on Trump regarding this, Biden and the DNC would've exposed it years ago.
Once again, this is a situation where too many careers on both sides will be destroyed, and perhaps Bill Clinton's legacy will be tainted, so everyone just wants it to go away, save for a few outsiders.

How can you be certain that's Mar-a-Lago? There's no unique features in it, and the pic shows a fairly generic looking luxury beach resort, which happens to have a few similarities to Mar-a-Lago.
It's like finding a picture of a bunch of slot machines and a blackjack pit, and insisting it has to be Bellagio.
The picture itself isn't even particularly offensive. It shows Epstein giving little girls balloons and lollipops in 1983 when he was poor (notice the pants), and then the same girls fawning all over him 20 years later in 2003, when they're supposed to be near 30. That doesn't even depict Epstein as a pedo, which he actually was. Instead, it shows that he was a generous guy to little girls when poor, and 20 years later they appreciate it and fawn all over him.
Trump admits he had a friendship with Epstein. I don't know why they're even trying to prove something which has already been established.
I think there's a high chance that Trump eventually became aware of Epstein's proclivity for underage girls, but ignored it in a "not my business, that's his problem" sort of way. So I think he doesn't want that coming out, plus he's under tremendous pressure from GOPers who really did partake in the sex-with-trafficked-minors thing on the island, and are terrified of the consequences.
It might be as simple as these people saying to Trump, "Look, if you out me, I promise I will talk nonstop about how close you and Epstein were, and how you knew what he was doing and kept hanging out with him, and it's going to destroy you, too. If I go down, you go down."
