I haven't looked at the polls recently for her versus Trump, but any positive difference can easily be explained by her being slightly more popular in the states of Libtardia, which will of course make absolutely zero difference in the election. Joe was forced out after his tour of gaffes and these latest polls showing an even bigger gap. His issues threatened everyone down the ballot.

I don't think they are even expecting to win the presidency now, they are only trying to salvage whatever message it is they are running with, I'm not even sure at this point, to protect the tightly contested races.
