He was only 61 years old. He had cancer since 2012, never made it public, and had been battling it ever since.
Politically he started shifting to the right (though he was never hard right at any point), which angered some on social media who expect all comedians to be on the left.
Funny guy, and never afraid to piss people off.

Norm used to frequent the 3-6 limit hold’em games at The Mirage back in the day. He was always kind of quiet, but very nice. I get the idea he was there to blow off a little steam and relax. His play was ok. Back then most players were horrible, so he held his own. RIP.
