Early Morning Degeneracy...

I like going to the casino in the early a.m. Back when i was playing live poker, I would often go to the cardroom early to catch players at the end of an all night session, and make easy money. Since Covid, I have been playing more Video poker, because i am not yet comfortable playing live poker. I am a huge germaphobe, and don't want to touch cards and chips that others have touched. With Video poker, I bring my own alcohol wipes to wipe down the seat and machine, and sit in the far corner of the High Limit room far away from other players.

So last week I had some free play that was going to expire @ 7:00am. I'm an early riser anyway, so I arrived at the Seminole Hard Rock High Limit Slot room by 6:20am. The first one was a small one...

While waiting to get paid for the first one, this happened...

And while waiting to get paid for the second one, this happened....

The last picture was taken at 7:10 am. i waited a few minutes to get paid, then grabbed a comped breakfast and was on the road and at my office by 8:30 am. 5 figure profit before breakfast....what a great way to start the day!

I just saw this thread but these are a couple I could easily get off my Twitter, I mean its not technically a Casino jackpot but in my world its similar I guess. I don't play many house-banked games myself, or haven't to this point in my life. These are for me though similar. Sort of of like a high ROI slot bink but in my world I guess =)

Although far from my biggest jackpot (i've hit several over $20k), it is my favorite. It was the last night on my vacation in Aruba October 2019. I stayed out of the casino the entire trip until the last night. And after 20 minutes....BINGO. It is my favorite because of NO 1099 !!! $10k tax free paid for my vacation and a lot more.

I suspect that some of these UX hits you're posting are on horrible paytables too.

Actually, Gringo, pay tables do matter. And yes this is not a good pay table. This particular Game King machine was in the Ritz Carlton in Aruba. I was bored and was just fucking around with some free play that I had earned when wifey was playing the slots. I would never play a 7-5 machine in the states. And, when you figure the lack of taxes on jackpots, it comes out ahead of 9-5 tables available in the U.S.

In Florida, I play 9-5 Double Double Bonus and 9-6 Tripple Double Bonus. In Vegas, you can find 9-7 Tripple Double Bonus. So, No the UX, and other games pay tables are not horrible.

Never ASS/U/ME anything.

While I was playing the NAPT Senior event at Resorts World on Monday (finished just out of the money), my girlfriend hit this one playing on my dime. Trust me though, she’s still way behind in the long run.

Look at this weirdness. Playing Double Super Times Pay (7 credits/hand) of 2 hands at $2/credit, meaning I'm putting in $28 each time.

At 9:54, I was dealt QQQ, and drew 44 on BOTH HANDS:

Kind of a fluke, right?

Then, at 10:23 (just 29 minutes later), I held 333, and got Q3 and 3Q on the top and bottom!

Surely such a thing couldn't happen a third time.... or could it? Just 2 minutes later, at 10:25, I got a 4x Super Times Pay, and was dealt AA44. I drew the A on top, and the 4 on the bottom, for a $720 hit.

Are you jealous?

Don't be. Due to a horrendous start, I still lost $700 on the session.

Today's action. Not too shabby. Triple Double Bonus can crush you when the machine is cold. But when it's hot, the other end of the variance spectrum can be quite rewarding.

Yeah, it's not the best pay table for TDB. But it was the best available to me at the time. There are 2 machines at the Hard Rock that have 9-6 pay table on TDB, but some dude was playing both at the same time. This is what there is in South Florida if you want to play video poker. Hopefully, when I'm in Vegas next week I can find better. Otherwise, I probably will play Black Jack and Live poker like in the old days when I was there every 2-3 months. Besides, I like my edge in Live poker any way. Most of the youngsters out there can't do shit without a solver at their disposal.
