Everything looks good. I am being told from a close source an official announcement from Pokerstars should come before the last day of the month.
I wonder if people that owe Stars money (chargebacks) or banned for cheating will be eligible for FTP payouts?

I heard from my cousin's sister's brother in law's gramma that the deal is going down. For sure.
Jesus, I hope all you guys get paid, but this is starting to get pathetic. A friend of a friend of a friend who used to date someone who once cleaned toilets at pokerstars tells me it's a done deal. Everybody should just STFU until an announcement is made.

Here is how this shaking out: There are apparently two separate sources/camps doling out information on this matter, and they have rarely been in agreement on what is going on (which leads me to believe that one source is in the FTP camp and the other in PokerStars). However, Friday's rumors were corroborated by BOTH sides, although with a slightly different take. So there was a major breakthrough in the negotitations at the end of the week, but whether this means a hurdle was cleared or the deal is done is up for discussion.
One thing people keep reporting is November for FTP re-launch. My guy told me it "could" be as quick as less than a week. I don't see what would take till November. They have already hired staff, retained some staff and have paid them through August. Will be interesting to see how that part of this unfolds.Quote:

The government was giving them 90 days to sort out the payments in full, and it's highly doubtful they are allowed to go back online until all players are paid (the ones that want their money withdrawn anyway). so 90 days from now is roughly November 1. Ya that makes total sense. Maybe what he was conveying to me is they are ready to go online within a few days. Maybe the poker won't be available but ROW have to cash out and US players still have to see their balanceQuote:
