No. Ivrine was never harder to get into than UCLA. You are completely just making shit up. I applied to UC Irvine and UCLA in 1997, got into both, and chose UC Irvine because they offered me an academic scholarship (this was back in the days when middle class white males could get scholarships, no chance now). I know a ton of people who applied to and went to both schools around that time. I don't know a single person who got into UCLA who was rejected by UC Irvine, but I know a ton of people it went the other way around.Quote:
