Belichick a dick? Malcolm Butler
-
This is the event that leads you to conclude Bill Belicheck might be a dick? What rock have you been under the last 20 years?

bayless and smith are the epitome of awfulness.
as for reasons you butler didn't play?............maybe it was on purpose. maybe they wanted a weaker secondary and wanted foles to beat them in the air. getting spread out would prolly have been a bigger nightmare. belly has been known to do similar chit like this before.
fact is NE defense was chit and way overrated. same w/ patrica........... it;s always been their downfall in the brady era. they couldn't stop the most bland JAX offense the previous week and had little answer for philly

They had good defences in their first few SBs. Shut down the greatest show on turf.

don't be a fucking jackass and hang on 1 word. fact is throughout the years their defense has been responsible for them losing games and being their downfall for the most part. obv not all the games
-
as for mcdanials staying put. dude had to of been promised someting to do what he did. maybe BB's head is on the chopping block. the espn article stated there was problems and with this latest butler incident he'll be gone. brady even game to the aid of butler. the writing on the walll seems that BB might be gone

Is such hostility necessary? I wasn't disagreeing. Especially in recent years their defence has sucked.

don't miss the plane, don't miss curfew, and don't get caught smoking weed before the biggest game of the year (if those reports are true)...
that's why belichick is the GOAT, he gives two fucks about benching his best CB...my way or GTFO...
-
I tried to watch that. Why the fuck do they have Shannon Sharpe trying to talk on TV? Shut the fuck up and shine my shoes boy.
-
Seriously why is on there? He almost has to be throwing angry slave cock to some major ESPN shareholder whose husband just kicked the bucket or something. Unwatchable.
-
I don't know what peeps are saying but my take on this is that I can't think of anything this Malcolm could have done that was so bad that Belichick wouldn't play him... but minor enough that he still got to dress out with the team.
-
Ok with no evidence it's obv not weed because all those niggas be getting high. And it's obv not a punishment because it's the fucking super bowl and Belichick wants to win more than anything. So what does that leave? You have to come up with something big enough to be a starter that doesn't see the field, but small enough to still get to be in uniform. It had to be something where Belichick thought he'd be a liability on the field.
That only leaves one thing. It was discovered that he was boozing pregame. Malcolm Butler tried to play the super bowl drunk. Only explanation.
-
Didn't read thread but Scott Zolack said on 98.5fm in boston the Thursday or Friday before the super bowl that butler wouldn't play.
I. Don't remember much but I do remember hearing that as I was driving during the day
-
All football coaches are dicks. Its part of the job.

while true, he wants to do it HIS way...

Been following this team my whole life. I can say that in my opinion, Bill Belichick would 100% sacrifice a super bowl to make a point. That is just the kind of coach he is. If he was not, he would have put butler in as Foles was throwing at will all over that sorry excuse for a secondary.

especially now when he has 5 SBs and is at the end of his career...what's the difference between him getting his 6th and just having 5? there isn't any...he's still the best coach ever and by doing this he just shows that things will always be done the belichick way until the day he retires...
wouldn't be at all surprised if just a tiny bit of this whole thing may have been a 'fuck you' to kraft for jettisoning garrapollo (shout out to jimmy for the 5/137, 90 guaranteed he got today)...

People forget Butler isn't really very good at his job. But hey, he made that 1 big play!
Ask Malcom Smith how that goes....

He may not be the best defensive back in the league, but he is a hell of a lot better than Eric Rowe

hostility was not needed. i can argue it's part of my manly existence. that or i was sick of being 1 or 2 outed that night. global poker will do that to you.
