silly to have 2 different options for ban. The poll should be ban, no ban but w sanctions (scammatar, etc), or no sanctions at all. He's not going to pay anyone $500, so that's kind of an unreasonable option.
I don't remember the bet he welched on, to be honest.

The problem with this is Druff makes the final decision and usually it's to unban people over time then they do something or new information comes to light to reinstate the ban when it should have stuck permanently (in this case until jsearles paid vegas). Since it's Druff's forum he has that call but I can't say I agree with it in certain cases.
jsearles was a complete nuisance when banned a few years ago since the instant message feature still allowed him to send people FREE JSEARLES, which I got several of them messages when I had that left on and he could get into the chat room during radio to whine about his ban before Druff banned him from chat for the night.
I'm on the fence in this case because the bet welcher was allowed back because vegas said it was fine he wrote it off and now after the whole scamming shit involving Lannister we want to see the guy get banned again until he pays it after he was allowed back despite not paying?
I do agree if jsearles is gonna brag about how much money he has it's laughable and disgusting he can't man up by paying vegas.
Druff might want to consider a rule for people involved in any of these scams or welching that even if they make good on it at some point they can't participate in freerolls and other betting contests on the forum ever again just to save those involved the headaches. This might not be a popular choice since some people on this forum get off on the drama these individuals bring, thus they find a liking to that person but whatever.
When you're a married man who likely shares a bank account with the wife I would imagine it would be frowned upon to see a $500 payment go out to a stranger on a website known for black cocks. Just imo. However, don't make a bet if you can't pay the damn debt broke n-word.
jsearles, there is a $55 freeroll prize that you "won" which I am currently holding until resolution.
How about making some kind of settlement with vegas1369 for some middle ground, plus I will send him the $55l, and we will be done with it?
That sounds like the most reasonable course of action here where everyone will win (except for those who hate seeing you post on this forum).
This site was relatively new when the wager was made. But Searles new Vegas went back years on these forums, while Vegas seen Searles as just a cocky noob.
So why on earth was escrow not insisted upon for a wage as large as $500 when one party was basically just a random at the time?
But guess the reasoning for that must've already been answered..
btw the $500 is still a debt, but voted no restrictions as he was brought back in without restrictions. And that should still stand.

My opinion, is J Searles should match the $55 free roll win with his own $55, and play Vegas heads up for $110. Its pennies on the dollar, but this is somewhat different than Lannister/China where actual money exchanged hands. This was somewhat of a blind bet that on the surface was not overly serious. The fact Druff reinstated Searles, AND allowed him to play the free-roll, he did not think this was overly serious either.
$110 potential payment is more than fair after all these years. Its good for Searles because it clears him of his debt, and good for Vegas so he has an hour's fee to finger some Chinese massage therapist in a 45 minute session. If he wins of course.
