I'll take a shot here: Anyone able to get me a room in Vegas over NYE? (will pay you)

Here is my situation:

I have one comped room at Caesars, through my 7 Stars benefit. I need one more.

I am not expecting it to be comped, but Caesars is giving me horrible rates, even at the mutt properties.

I am not sure what I am going to do about this. I don't want to pay $400+ per night at a Bally's type property, nor do I want to pay $280 at the Rio. Just not worth it. I can't bring myself to do it. I would pay a lot for a nice room, but to pay that type of money for these shit hotels is just anti-Jewish.

Can anyone here get me a room for the nights of 12/30 and 12/31 (checking out 1/1)?

I will be glad to pay you for it, though obviously not the full value of what it's selling for on the open market (or I would just buy it myself).

Doesn't have to be a Caesars property, but does need to be on strip. Doesn't have to be a high-end hotel, but not a complete shithole.

I guarantee you will be zero out-of-pocket for this. I will personally guarantee to immediately reimburse you for any costs incurred (though I can't see how there would be any, as no one will be charging to the room).

Way too much security, both on strip hotel properties and on the street.

Instead take a vacation in Hawaii or go to the PCA at Atlantis in the Bahamas early before thousands of young kids arrive.

You could enjoy the Bahamas before these young know it all's show up and take your money then leave early after you bust the main event.

BTW, NYE in Vegas is what you make of it.

If you go there to be part of the overcrowded, 32-degrees midnight shitshow, of course you will be miserable.

I like going there around NYE to eat at nice restaurants, visit Mt. Charleston, and watch the fireworks high up in a warm room at Caesars.

Reminds me a bit of cruising. If you just mindlessly do what the crowds do, you're not going to have a good time.

Thanks for the offer. Sadly that is the biggest challenge. You have to physically be in Vegas to check me in (but not check out).

I know several people who could give me their room, but none will be in Vegas for NYE (or they will need the room themselves, and can't get me a 2nd.)

I have been on the forums since 2008. I have never heard or seen Druff bragging or flaunting about his wealth. In fact, it is usually the opposite, trying to leverage a cheap angle on a deal.

Not pandering to the Owner at all, I just have never seen Druff flaunt anything of material. Of course, I have had some gaps in attendance of the forum, so there might be a post about a new BMW, house, etc... I missed, not sute

The only thing remotely flashing was the photo shoot of his suite on a cruise, but even that is only $4 or $5K or so. A mild brag for sure but nothing too serious.

I realize that this is your one chance to show off how great your comps are compared to mine. You have long bitched about how I got to Seven Stars too easily, while you shoot off money constantly, including at horrible paytable video poker games which only suckers play.

So good job... you lost a fortune yet got some good comp offers.... congrats. I got to Seven Stars cheaply (in fact I won this year), and can't get extras from them. That's one of the small downsides to what I do. I could pay for a baller suite on NYE and still be down far less than you are this year.

He thought that maybe I was pissing off the hosts in some way. I was just explaining to him that I wasn't (that these hosts didn't know me), and that it was only my "overcomped" status which made them not want to help me (because there was nothing in it for them).
