He doesn't walk he shuffles. Can barely get out of a chair.
His friends tell me he was a legendary drinker in his twenties. Prolific. The stories are so crazy and the quantities so massive that if there weren't so many confirmations I wouldn't believe it.
He was the least athletic kid in a very athletic family. Brothers all made minor leagues in soccer, hockey, baseball. He compensated in the gym and getting big. The usual huge protein uptake, creatine and other shit.
I am sure the booze and the lifting diet wrecked his liver or kidneys or both.
I never talk about it with him. Try to treat him normal. But this sure ain't some temporary condition that will pass for this guy.
Guy struggles with basic daily tasks and my doing favors for him has grown to the point I sometimes feel I should claim him as a dependent.
I am basically an ass with people so I am hoping karma works out with this.
This guy is a huge memorabilia collector. Game worn jerseys signed, baseballs, pictures, you name it. Any Patriots item imaginable from recent years. He shows up at events and gets signatures and stuff from players who NEVER sign or charge hundreds. Brady, as an example, never signs. This guy shuffles up and gets anything he wants. He had his basement built out to look like Fenway. I gotta get a picture for you guys - it's amazing.
Anyway, I recognize the apple cider vinegar and all that. He does that too. However, I agree with the advice to see a doctor. Don't gamble. Dreadful way to go.
