Just so sloppy with Finau on these scoring holes. They are not set up (other than 18) where nice shots will get you an eagle putt. You have to get the approach in the right spot and get up and down in most scenarios.
Not making birdie on 6 or 7 is essentially a wrap. He will have to score on the traditionally par holes. He’s going to have to putt super well now in or hit some great approach shots dead. Could be the grueling schedule. But it sucks.
Ok as I’m writing this he made a putt and birdied 8 (tough fucking hole). Needs to be super clean now.
This isn’t an excuse but it’s just so shitty a player of his caliber has not only failed to birdie 17 or 18 (2 easiest holes on the course) ONE fucking time in 3 days. On top of that he somehow is plus 2 on them. He would be right there if he didn’t butcher these fucking holes. Sorry had to vent.

Well you can get 5.5 to 1 at least. Yes it’s very low for golf but sometimes you just have to lay it. Effective field is probably around 23. More than half the guys the 54 have no real shot. You may see an outlier or two but in all probability it will be the big names on the leaderboard. So it’s not awful. But yes, 5 to 1 is shitty.Quote:
