Yesss I’m on the same side as Peters!
Minnesota +130 at Detroit
Miami vs Dallas - Under 48.5
Kansas City vs Raiders - Under 40.5
Ugh, 3 points in 1Q, then 21 points in 2Q, and almost another 3-7 which fortunately didn't happen.
Still a dog to cover the under now.
KC shitting the bed against a crap Raiders team.
Ended up winning that NFL pick above.
Here's an NBA pick while you wait for NFL and NHL to return.
Memphis at New Orleans - Over 229.5
kings -5 1st half
this looking like a turbo loss
I burnt money with you, except I covered the second half. I jumped on this in the second half -1 when the Kings were down 6 assuming a comeback was likely. Danger of live betting games you’re not watching. I always look at halftime stats and if the better team is shooting 15% from 3 and the lesser team is shooting 50%, bet on the comeback. Works out if you donÂ’t get killed with juice, but certainly didn’t last night.
Today.
I hate laying 10.5 with VaTech this afternoon, but rarely have I seen a team more depleted of their starters and even coaching staff than Tulane. Starter and backup QB gone. Top 2 receivers. Probably 8 other starters. That coach got a new job and pilfered the entire roster.
I bet it last night at -108. It’s now -128 for that number on my book, so 11 to not get killed with juice. Rare is the team at Tulane’s level that has adept starters buried 3 deep in depth chart, but who knows?
And fuck my fat thumb for hitting that stupid emojis. Sir Toddrick needs to put some special feature in that allows me to edit out my random emojis
I see our sharp Dr Peters and I’m waiting for him to roll in with a Tulane +11 so I can just cash out before it’s too late and assume I missed something
Since college went pro the bowl game apathy seems exploitable if someone did the work.
I’m gonna hate myself but can’t resist OSU. Coulda had -2 last night.
The humiliation remaining Texas AM players must feel in the locker room while putting on their pads
They are both gonna be wretched. It’s perverse CFB
I am going to post bets so strong that I want to test against the curse of “stupidity wagering”
Admittedly this is the first day back after the NHL holiday break. Potential for weirdness

Dr Pete is the best NFL better
OSU easy ✅
NHL just some hurtful shit X
This true freshman QB for AM could jump in the portal tmrw and get 1.5 million next year. Dual threat with that arm. If he stays, he has some serious bargaining leverage.
Boston College in a weather game in some kind of fake bowl game at Fenway Park. Can’t help but think of Daly and smile
What do you think of college players being compensated with annuities Daly? I certainly always strongly felt the players should be paid but this is wild.
I don’t follow football but SMU is straightforward
I went to bed around 4Am and that game was SMU -10.5. Woke up at 9 and it was 14. Not a good start for that late $ to this point; but it’s early.
The NIL stuff it off the hook. The NCAA has been lobbying congress to define NIL, but I bet it’s the NFL that ends up getting it done. There are probably 50-75 guys making more than first round $ next year. Brock Purdy is going to win MVP and makes a fraction of what Arch Manning does. Arch makes more than Fields. The going rate for established portal QBs who aren’t likely to be pros, but good college players, are going for a million.
I caught -7.5 -130 when BC was up 3. Haven’t turned game on yet I spaced on the fact that legal books in Mass prohibit betting on Mass schools. I thought the game was regarded as too dreadful to offer a line on. Had to do offshore.
NCAA looking to congress? Wasn’t aware and that strikes me as a poor idea. What problem is the NCAA trying to solve? Let free enterprise work this out.
Alsooooooooo, Brock Purdy MVP of NFL? That is a sad state of affairs for the NFL if true. I think I peeked in on Christmas. Ewwww.
Watched more of the Barry Sanders Amazon flick than NFL lately. Learned much about Sanders I did not know before. Recommend
I generally can’t stand NFL, but this Browns season has seemed dead multiple times and then Flacco story has kept me interested for first time in a decade. He’ll probably tear his ACL tonight.
There is, I think, at least 4 bills in various stages of progression through congress. I don’t think the present is sustainable because there seems to be support for change in a bipartisan manner.

Few different ways to take it all in and process it.
Best place to start is at the beginning. If anyone thinks “payments” to players is a new thing over the past 2-3 years then I could see how this whole NIL thing may rub you the wrong way. Fact is “payments” have been made to players and parents for decades now so it some sense this is better because at least its all above board now.
The part thats out of control is the transfer portal. Its legit free agency. College football
As a whole could have done a better job with this part of it……. But in the end this was bound to be the out come because of two simple facts
1. NCAAF has been a for profit exploit for the NFL as a Minor league system for decades.
2. As much as the NCAA has enjoyed running this at a profit the one thing that would put a stop to the parade would be if college players were in the eyes of the law employees and not amateur players.
Can you imagine the cost if all the players who got hurt to the point of retirement over the last decades needed to be compensated?
The whole thing…. And I mean the entire administration of the game needs to be completely dismantled and put back together again….. and the best solution would be a admittance by the NFL that NCAA is a pipeline to the NFL.
NHL
Los Angeles -110 at Las Vegas
I love NIL, it certainly doesn’t rub me the wrong way. Now that kids are getting paid my passion for the topic is much much smaller than before.
Players were taking payments forever but not on a broad enough scale
Parenthetically, I’m not a fan of High School kids getting NIL but I don’t want you to lose your focus.
What problem do you perceive exists with the present system? Closing the transfer portal is tricky business. I’m not sure it can be fairly addressed
I’m also curious how you think a cozier relationship with the NFL would look? What possible benefit would the NFL offer?
kansas st -3
Was an interesting brew heading into tonights game.
The total opened at 36.5 and got hammered straight down. Vegas moved the line 3 points and did not stand ground to invite even more action.
At the same time the prop sharps were all over the passing overs. Thats usually a recipe for a over.
34-17 at half
Not often you see that sort of divergence.
If anyone has any insight on the OSU Mizzou game Id love to hear it.
Not often you get a team that opens up -6.5 jumps the fence to +4 and then comes all the way back to -5.
I have no idea what to do with this game
i lean to the under 50.5
Florida -142 vs rangers
Syracuse hoops -1
NHL
Carolina -121 at Toronto
Long live James Franklin. The annual gift that keeps on giving. If the opponent is ranked and the talent is similar, no one has ever went broke betting against Franklin. Most unimaginative coach in the big leagues.
