Which is good news, in your opinion, for who?
Honestly curious.

some interesting tidbits in there about how trump wields the bulk of his power towards cowing the GOP and culling the weak from his own flock, which explains why you see so few nevertrumpers left standing and why the people who _are_ left standing in the GOP are essentially going full stalingrad to protect him from accountability.
also rudy is 100% trying to fall on trump's sword in a fairly well orchestrated attempt to shield the oval office from culpability and i kinda get it.
Not sure it’s good news. I don’t think the Dems really thought going down this impeachment road would lead to Trump actually being removed from office. Their goal was more to hurt him for 2020, which hasn’t happen. That poll is just more evidence that this is a waste of time and money.
hey guys i was a bit worried you all might have forgotten that donald trump is a mentally ill subnormal, so to remind you im hyperlinking to a letter he just wrote to nancy pelosi.

spoiler alert he goes full toddler and sounds like an actual unhinged person.
Comey gonna get a free helicopter ride.
im sorry wait hold up.
e... economy plus.....?
Let’s be clear: This seeming-to-most-reasonable-people childish rant is actually a very well crafted talking point playbook for Republicans in Congress to follow if they want to avoid being labeled by Trump and his allies as “traitors” to both the country and the “united Republican” Party. It is addressed to Pelosi, however, as a signal to any potential wayward GOPers that Trump is thoroughly committed to raining a political firestorm on anyone in the party who is less than fully supportive of him. Which is why GOPers in Congress who have a conscience and don’t want to go along with Trump’s game are tending to announce their upcoming retirement while speaking even only lukewarmly about Trump.
Druff can you please explain to the GOP all the reasons that they arent sock puppets for the Christian Coalition?
Some of them seem confused.
Huh? Senator Mitch McConnell has already decided that there will be no witnesses when the impeachment trial moves to the Senate.Quote:
Rep. Loudermilk: "When Jesus was falsely accused of treason, Pontius Pilate gave Jesus the opportunity to face his accusers."
I'm sure how this ends but the next Star Wars movie is a real stinker.

Prolly a jooincidence.
Pelosi holding off on sending articles of impeachment to the Senate?
LULZ
(((they)))’re
trump just told a crowd that recently deceased rep. john dingell was looking up at him from hell.
The next big step is the House leadership is going to drag this out and accuse McConnell of “obstruction of justice” and the house leaders are going to take a public shitfit for the cameras because they can’t make the rules in the senate and there is absolutely zero they can do about it. They know it, the GOP knows it everyone on that hill knows it. So I suspect you are correct that step one of this is going to be to drag it out in the media as long as they deem fit. Because the following steps will ROUGHLY go as follows....
Eventually this will go to the senate for “trial”.
The Senate will formally ask 45 for his plea. He can not respomd which means Not Guilty, or he can respond and say “Fuck the house in the ass, I’m not guilty” on the record........ either way it won’t matter.
Roberts will go in and “preside” over it but all he’s really there for is to swear in the “101” Senators and as soon as that is done Mconnell will call it to order....... and roughly .00000028572918273 seconds after that a Senator (Probably Rand Paul or some other GOP member that don’t give a Fuck) will make a motion to dismiss the trial......
And about 10 minutes later in a vote held to strict party lines the imechement “trial” will go up in flames.
And then there will be tears and “guess it’s up to the public in the next election” and “this was obstruction of justice we now have the moral high ground to do nothing until the next election in the House”
Then it’s X amount of hilarity on the election trail.
For what it’s worth the betting markets reacted favorably to a trump reelection post impeachment with “Jan 2025” becoming the favorite for when he leaves office.
Correct - and I’m not suggesting it either.
My only point is there are a lot of folks on the left celebrating today and I can completely understand why..... but I think they may be missing the trees through the forest. The impeachment played big with the folks who were never going to vote for 45 anyway. The people in the middle..... I don’t think they like what they are seeing and hearing and I think the betting markets are already hinting at it.
This is so trash. so the only Ds that even gave impeachment a "no" thought is because it might affect their next election, f em all
The Republicans are trash and yet they are 10x better than the wannabe tranny blowers. yall should kill self if Pelosi and Schiff dont make u wanna kill yourself
Which one of these ass clowns do you think will become President?
