Sucks to say it because I touted the Rodgers Under 21 completions, but if you have a book that does 2H player props take the Rodgers over completions..... Anything up to 13.5 is OK.
GB is going to Huck in the 2h

alshon jeffries was so far over the line just now that he may have been mistaken for a GB safety
jesus, there are some absolutely shitty calls going against the Bears today. And not enough called against GB. I saw some pushes from the back on kickoffs and GB ran them for like 50 yards because of it.
Hometown call bs
Or come out and run the ball 8/9 plays. It's cool
Or you know, come out and get @ids of the elbow. Thanks man.
"GREEN 18...Green 18 HUT...Oh, FUCK!!"
Im sure his left wrist just had a misunderstanding...
If Chicago pulls this out for a Straight Up win, my weekend is a success. WAAYY too many parlays relying on them to cover and a bonus ML win.
Please Flying Spaghetti Monster...make this happen...
what say you, this fine Friday morning?
Here are some NBA picks:
Golden State -8.5 at Phoenix - I have watched Phoenix this year. They suck against good teams. None of their 7 wins are against teams over .500.
Sacramento vs. Minnesota - Under 218 - Public loves the over because Sac has a fast pace and has broken 120 in the last two games in regulation. Minnesota has played good defense in the past 5 games, now allowing over 101 points in any of those contests, despite only winning 3 of 5. Cousins also may not play.
Philadelphia +10.5 at Houston - Houston has looked awful this year, and is the most disappointing team in the NBA. A coaching change has not helped. Philly has come close to getting their first win in their past two contests. They might actually do it today, so if you're feeling adventurous, go with the moneyline. I think they will at least cover, though.
Philly/Houston - Under 197 - Both of these teams cannot score well. Most of Houston's games have seen them score under 100, and Philly is averaging just 89 points per game. 6 of Philly's past 8 games have seen them score 88 or fewer, and they have not broken 95 points in that entire span.
Good luck.
I can only bet 1 of these (Golden State) at the moment, as the rest are off the board at Bovada.
I am 12-9 coming into today, with a 2-game losing streak at the moment.
Druff I went to get back on Bovada today and they had dropped me from red room. I'm sure if you were in my shoes you could reinstate yourself. I plan on trying.
Anyway yeah I figd I'd be hopping all over sac min over at like 210. Can't believe it's 218. I don't mind that bet at all.
I have no feel on the other ones. Although yeah at first glance that GSW seems low and that houston Philly number seems high. Is someone out for gsw tonight?
If you are ever super bored there is this guy Nate Duncan on twitter that tweets hundreds of times every day and is probably the biggest nba geek out there right now. Damn near every night he does a recap podcast as well. He doesn't do it from a betting angle and his podcast is very stale but what he has going for him is that he's not affiliated with the NBA and he doesn't hold back opinions. He's probably the only dude that haralabob seemingly respects if you follow his twitter. He did a podcast over thanksgiving with a fellow super nerd nba guy Danny. They spend a few minutes on every team. I'm a pretty big nba nerd but even I dozed off half way through. But if you want amazing NBA info with zero bias that is your guy.
They won't be talking about over unders and spreads or even matchups... but sometimes you can read between the lines.
Good luck on your bets.
As I've said before on the forum my fave betting podcast can be found at sportsmemo.Com. Although that one is hit and miss and maybe they will only talk nba one day a week.
I appreciate these kinds of posts.
I just can't NBA. But I like getting a glimpse into the serious subculture that games it. Voulgaris is an obvious example and whets my appetite for more.
Wish Daly did more with the bigger picture with props but this will do nicely.
Hurt em kid.
Thanks!
Can someone explain to me why I was able to add three paragraphs after he not only repped me but also quoted me and the dumb sheboon has edited his post didn't pop up? And then other times I can literally add a period or change one letter in a typo right after I post and it comes up?
Okafor will play per rotoworld.com
Forgot about Okafur. Shit. Fortunately he will prob play.
Can't bet Sac/Minn.
Did get off Phil +10.5 and under 198 on that game, as well as GS -8.5
I was out drinking earlier otherwise i would have bet my house on bolden ore st over 2.5 rec. he has 2
With 8 min to go
Possible halftime wager on Washington. Watching closely. Down by 17 right now in the 1st.
He tried and he ran into depositing and other issues. Poor dude has explained it countless times.
So the Philly under is a disaster and is going to lose by a mile.
Philly +10.5 isn't looking great but is in the running.
The annoying thing was that I had decided earlier to bet on Orlando, but completely forgot about it (also forgot to post it here).
That one easily won.
Just did a first half of Min/Sac Under 110.5 in lieu of the whole game bet. I like that better than my earlier-posted Min/Sac Under 218 (which I never ended up betting) because this game is expected to be close, so a first half bet both dodges overtime and the fouling BS that occurs at the end of the 4th -- both of which are bad for under bets.
Well Philly is out strong in the 4th. One thing that sucks balls about Bovada is that they don't give you moneylines on big dogs/big favorites. So I would have done some Philly ML today +600 but couldn't. Right now Philly is winning by 1 in the 4th.
Maybe I do have to work harder at getting on a "real" book.
You 100% def have to get at least 1 more book. Bodog is only good opposite public betting, their lines are ridiculous. No local books?
Yeah this is pissing me off. You can see I'm not just past-posting here. I said earlier today that I liked the Philly ML.
Now they are up by 5. So my +10.5 is going to cover for sure (good), but I could have had +600 on the ML, too.
So any reasonable options which pay well, aside from 5Dimes (questionable owner, not customer service oriented at all) or Heritage Sports (won't let me have an account)?
Glad I went with Golden State, though. They're up by 17 already. Phoenix just sucks balls against teams over .500. 0 wins against winning teams this year, and they are up against the best team in the NBA, and maybe of all time.
Really glad I took the OVER on this Baylor game the other day....on a day when its a freaking monsoon and neither passing team can pass. #failboat
Well, my first first half bet (Sac/Min Under 110.5) was a success, and won by 10.5.
Philly +10.5 won easily, and the moneyline would have barely lost (good thing I couldn't bet it).
Philly under lost by 32. LOL
Golden State, crushing by 18 at halftime, is now having a poor 3rd and my -8.5 is in jeopardy. If it covers, I go 3-1 today and move to 15-10 in my first 25.
Edit: Never mind, back up by 18 for GS.
Thompson has 4 fouls, Barnes hurt his ankle and now bogut hurt his finger.
Good news GS is deep.
Wow. Just Wow. One of my books is completely fucking me over. They no actioned my Miller first TD bet from last night because the window said "first packers TD" and not "first bears TD". Even though all the players were bears players and they presumably scooped all the other bets made they no actioned my $2,600 winner.
Nendless to say I'm fucking bullshit right now.
