The bigger point I was making is that money is routinely used to bribe others into doing what the benefactor wants, including the executive branch to foreign nations, congress to the states, Biden to the Ukraine over particular prosecutors, etc, you get the point. The democrats have been trying to impeach Trump before he even took office. That is not how this is supposed to work -- elections have consequences so we are told. So far they have struck out time and time again. Now they are throwing shit against the wall just waiting to see what, if anything, sticks with the public before pulling the trigger.
