FYI for those betting tonight: the cage is 25 ft, not the standard 30ft
Jamie Moyle is one bad bitch.
LOL, Maynard has a tramp stamp tattoo.
Holy crap I thought Elliot was going to win for a second there. He won the round but seems pretty gassed.
"I don't want to fight that guy again. That was the most annoying bulls--t."

Ryan Hall, on a side note, looks just like Mr.Peepers from SNL
Jon Jones cuts a deal for 1 yr ban retroactive to last summer with NAC which expirses 7/6/16. SO guess we will see him for UFC 210 to fight Cormier maybe??

^^^ - That is very old news about it being retroactive to this past July and I'm not sure why ESPN is writing about it now.
On to more interesting news. Dana White continues to pull what little hair he has left on his head out over Cris "I'm secretly a man with tits" Cyborg.. Apparently 2X now Dana has tried to set up a title fight for Cyborg for what would be the legit creation of a 145lb division and title for Women.. Cyborg swears up and down shes a 145lb fighter.. Now comes the interesting note. The first offer he made her and apparently the opponent was down was to fight Hollie Holmes who knocked little Miss Congeniality on her ass for the 135lb title before getting bitch slapped by Miesha Cupcake Tate herself.. Cyborg was offered the fight for the new 145lb title with 8 weeks notice and told Dana she couldn't make 145lb in that time.. (WHAT THE FUCK SERIOUSLY???) The second was to potentially be at UFC 208 against Germaine de Randamie (WHO????) also for the 145lb title and again she turned it down.. White is apparently frustrated as hell with Cyborg who made it clear that he doesn't believe Cyborgs bullshit excuse about making weight at 145 (as shes done it plenty in the past and would be where she fought all her other fights in Invicta and others)..
My own person opinion.. Hell let her fight Aldo for the mens 145lb title.. She could probably beat him.. (oh hell if it is a weight issue lets bring out the big guns and see if the roided out twat can fight McGregor at 155lbs... She cant do any worse then Aldo did in 13 seconds or Alvarez did for that matter).
You knew this was gonna happen
I was leaning Holloway before -200, and definitely leaning on him now
Pettis missing weight....he's the first guy to miss weight for an UFC title bout since Travis Lutter in 2006
i apologize if this sounds tinfoil hattish but i think pettis deliberately blew off his weight cut because a) blowing off weight cut is the new horse meat and b) he would rather blow a shot at an interim title and be 2-3-0 in his last 5 than risk ending up 1-4-0 in his last 5 against someone who'se already a huge favorite.
ive got significant love on cowboy tomorrow and i intend to roll over winnings to pettis if that works out.
oh also derek louis might be legit retarded.
maybe not as much as jones but a lot.
a lot.
Remind me when Francis Ngannou fights as an underdog vs a top 10 contender to take him. That guy is a monster
Somebody please explain why the hell were even having an interim title match. Aldo had the Interim Title and was elevated when UFC stripped McGregor. I've heard no indication Aldo was unable to compete otherwise they would've stripped him of the Interim 145 title. So this circle jerk makes no sense other then trying to legitimize further the stripping of McGregor at 145. There seems to be no other valid reason for tonight's original Interim Championship for Halloway to win.
did you just stop reading my post after the word 'cut' or something?
take a look at the results of fights for the last year where someone failed to make weight, its a potentially huge edge. not saying hes the favorite here, just saying +200 is super exploitable at this point. variables like pay, 'interim' belts (lol), etc are virtually meaningless when weighed against the potential reality of being 1-4 in his last 5 fights. so yeah im saying its the opposite of 'didnt help himself' to seek out an enormous advantage against holloway.
I was using the exact same logic sonatine's using. On top of the fact that +200 dogs are very verrrry live in UFC he's also going to be over weight? But I spoke with a few people that I respect and all said this one you're going to want to stay away from. I still might get down just for the sweat but as of right now I'm not going to bet it.
I hope sonatine's right though, regardless.
It's pissing me off that the Lando Vannata fight wasn't on the televised prelims.
Not sure what they're thinking.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gfXCznUAfs
yeah its a weird card, there really isnt a prelim main event either, usually they have one to get people tuned into FS1.
Does anyone have a link to a stream? Usually they are easy to find by searching 'UFC stream reddit" but none of them seem to work.
Edit: nvm, I got it figured out.
Seems like Kennedy should destroy?
Odds don't show that. What's up?
Stand up is what's up. Damn Gastelum owns him.
Fight of the year?
Mother of God, that was crazy.
Not much else to say really but HOLY SHIT.
Anyone who dropped the money on this ppv actually got their moneys worth. I want to go back and watch that fight again right now.

Nice boobs behind Goldberg during the Rousey hype up.
cowboy v brown is one of the sickest fights ive seen in years and we arent even in the third round yet.
LIGHTS OUT
i just came all over literally everything, ever.
also shout out to joe rogan patiently explaining to goldie what a head kick is.
holloway is in there with no fucking concerns whatsoever. i thought pettis could solve his mobility but its not looking likely.
aaaaaand hes got a broken fucking hand.
because of course he does.
I'm not a fan when fighters thank Jesus Christ after winning a fight but when they follow it up with 15 fucks afterwards they are alright in my book.
what really raised my eyebrows was how good holloway's takedown defense was.
also im sorry but who does pettis think he has something for at 155 exactly.
Pettis has been solved.
Also, this link from TSN in Canada has some of the finishes from the PPV. Didn't know the the UFC allowed them to show PPV finishes so I'll post it:

gall vs northcutt is this weekend and the books seem to feel that gall's going to choke him out in under 8 minutes.
i guess that could happen but im still kinda floored that someone as well rounded and talented as northcutt is a dog to a brown belt with exactly no professional fights*.
* dont even make me say it.
