I don't follow golf at all. Any long shots worth putting a bet on to win over the weekend? I know round 1 was yesterday

Bizarre tournament. I don’t think Rickie can play this kind of high variance golf over the weekend with the course firming up and win. Scottie played about as bad as he can on his first nine. He didn’t make a putt all day. The birdies on 1,6,8 plus the bogey avoidance on his final 9 were just a pure course management 68. Just have to see how things shake tomorrow. I was more concerned about X making birdie on 17 & 18 than anything else. Cam & Scottie and the X/Rory pairings will be interesting to watch. The firming up should hurt Rory/DJ/Rickie. Will be interesting to watch regardless.
BTW when I posted Scottie was +650. 18 holes later he has moved to….+650. Which are pretty close to his pre tournament odds of….+650.
