Trump knows this and made a not so veiled threat for all to hear about how spies were taken care of back when we were "smart". It's only a matter of time before resignation, or he attempts to burn it all down.
the central flaw of trump's strategy is the assumption that everyone around him will continue to fall on their swords. it worked for a minute when the pawns were a bunch of half assed randoms like cohen and flynn but he's run out of pawns and his bishops arent feeling motivated.
also you gotta hand it to pelosi, who put off impeachment until it was legally unavoidable because she didnt want trump to basically urge his base towards a violent uprising.

hannity, graham, levin and the usual cast of characters heard trump ask a foreign leader for help digging up dirt on a political rival and not only did they say that wasn't impeachable, they spun it as a positive. we're living in an alternate universe where our least educated have way too much influence over the rest of us.
trump's base would still kill for him. i've never seen anything like this.
when word comes out that trump actually held up military aid to ukraine cause of the biden stuff, we'll start to see GOP senators in purple states turn, but never from the south and midwest

mark levin lost it on fox today when he was merely asked about whether he approves of trump's conduct -- insisting that was the "wrong question" and instead insisted that it wasn't illegal. the same with stephen miller with chris wallace. miller just flatout ignored wallace's questions.

That being said, there’s no compelling reason to believe that the Ukrainians just stupidly overpaid for Biden’s son to be a member of that board because unlike with Trump’s dealing with Russia, US policy was materially altered to favor that company. Bottom line: The Hunter Biden story may look bad, but there’s no “there” there.
