I was considering fading Verlander (mad at myself for not doing it with Rays playing Mets last time), but Bieber has been so inconsistent, and isn't throwing strikes like he used to.

I know it can be argued they were close for a lot of the game in two of the three, but there's something about being down 3-0 in the NBA. No team has ever come back from it. I've seen it so many times throughout the years where the team down 3-0 at home just gives up and gets blown out.

I think the moneyline is the best bet here. I see this one being a close game. It will probably a decisive win either way. Either Lakers will play great and Denver will essentially give up, knowing they have 3 more games to get it done, or the Lakers will fall behind and basically give up at some point.
I haven't really bet the NBA playoffs, but I'm going against my Laker fandom (which isn't nearly as intense as my Dodgers fandom) and betting the Nuggets ML here. For the record, I won't ever bet against the Dodgers because that's blasphemy. It's cost me money over the years, as I know the team very well and sometimes know in my heart when the Dodgers are going to lose. The Lakers I can bet against.
Notice this is not a "sharp" bet of any kind, and just one I'm doing on feel.

Okay, I barely hit yesterday's Denver bet, which I felt was great value at +148.
Today I just have to bet Miami. Again, not a sharp bet, just a feeling. Just looks like the Celtics have given up.
Denver had to win on the road. Miami is right on their home court and is already being crowned the Eastern Conference champs.

The problem is getting over the psychological hurdle of no team ever coming back from down 3-0 in the NBA, and the general giving up attitude seen among the Celtics during and after game 3.
Looks like a split in MLB.
Heat giving up 16 unanswered points in the 3rd was brutal. They had this game in good shape, and then just a total collapse.

LPGA Matchplay - Linn Grant 22-1
She hasn’t been able to play in America because of vax rules. I like where she is drawn. I also like her chances of a first win in a non standard stroke play tournament. Think her length will suit her well. Also very weak field. Most top ranked players are skipping.
Senior PGA Championship - Stewart Cink 9-1
This is an auto play in my eyes. He turned 50 Monday and gets to play in his first Senior’s event Thursday. Has shown signs that he will be a force on the Senior tour. Has played pretty well into his late forties. With it being a major it will be the standard 4 rounds he is used to as opposed to the typical Senior tournaments that are 3 day.
On the euro tour I think Rozner is worth a few bucks at 28-1. But the euro tour is really tough to handicap. But price is good. As for the Charles Swab….I think it’s very tough to get around Scottie at 4-1. But at this point I haven’t made up my mind if the price is worth it.
Oh yea and I think Cam Smith is the correct favorite for LIV DC. Got to bet it offshore. Betonline has him +850. The problem he has had is slow starts, which just really hurt in these 3 round tournaments. But the way he played Sunday at the PGA…I think he’s primed to play well in DC this week. But I’m not the only one. Still think it’s a pretty fair price. It’s simple…but if Cam can drive the ball halfway decent….he should be right there on Sunday.
