We never gave them anything; we froze some of their bank accounts during sanctions and per a ruling by international courts, those balances were unfrozen and returned with interest.

yeah i can see that angle of it, but i'm assuming that russia actually wants good relations with trump (maybe wants sanctions removed?), so leaking the fact trump is sharing classified secrets with them, which only strengthens calls for his impeachment, would not be something they would wantQuote:

Why are all the Trump fans still on board? He's broken most of his campaign promises. He wasn't going to be an interventionist. Mexico was going to pay for the wall. Everyone was going to get terrific health care. If you voted based on the campaign Trump ran, you have to be disappointed.
