First off, I don't want to see anyone physically threatening each other here. That has been against the rules on PFA since day 1.
Regarding Jasep, I don't believe that he is voluntarily making amends due to guilt or wanting to do the right thing.
However, he does seem to have a stable life going right now, and that part is important to him. So it's pretty clear that he will keep paying PFA regularly for as long as his life remains intact and doesn't want things disrupted.
If we get all of the money back, when all is said and done, then at least we have erased the financial impact of the whole mess. We're a long way from getting to that point, but at least I've received about 10% of the money back so far, and it will make me feel good to see the victims made whole (or at least partially whole).

Also, I don't believe Jasep is guilty of "haveing a dream." My experience with cash games in the Northeast is that they are packed with fish from Dec 26 to New Years Eve, while relatively dead the week before Christmas and on Christmas Day, and immediately after New Years when juicy working stiffs go back to the routine of their weekday office jobs. So reading this after the fact, it seemed odd that Jasep would plan to start playing for his investors after that typically mad action during the last week of the year.
Well, I realize this is way after the fact, but I really think that both Drexel and China were completely blindsided by Jasep's deception. And that reaction is corroborated by how much effort Drexel put into trying to get the RI police to move on Jasep in the months after it came out.
Seriously, Del, if you aren't joking, consider giving D and C a break on this matter. Because it seems like this was the first time either of them had something like this blown up so close in their faces. If they fail to pull the fire alarm the next time something like this occurs, feel free to release the kraken. But I beg the court to give these first-timers probation with time-in-anguish served on this matter.
