It's been mentioned a bunch of times. That's the "Bryan" we are talking about.
Here's the indictment against Beanz, regarding the PPP fraud. He's likely fucked, as it appears he's in the sentencing phase, and the feds make you serve most of your time.
Indictment: https://storage.courtlistener.com/re...136329.1.0.pdf
Docket: https://www.courtlistener.com/docket...es-v-attebery/
This doesn't automatically make him involved in any cheating ring, obviously, but it does show a willingness to rip off the gubmint.
I should also mention that Beanz contacted me about appearing on the last PFA show. I did not go to him. In fact, I didn't even realize he was a regular HCL player, as I don't really watch much streaming poker. At the time, I figured he just wanted to come on because he had been on PFA before, follows me on Twitter, sometimes listens to the show, and wanted to give his own take. It surprised me when he revealed that he was the one who recruited Robbi for the HCL games. That was as new to me as it was to the listener.
I guess it is possible that he had an incentive to clear Robbi's name, if he were in cahoots with her in any way.
The plot thickens...

Here we go.....
To clarify the bounty situation, there's a $200k bounty, which expires in a few days, for anyone who can show and demonstrate how cheating was taking place at HCL. This would have to be an insider or perpetrator -- not just people like us who are speculating, guessing, or hearing rumors.
Shaun Deeb, Tom Dwan, Bill Perkins, and Haralabob Voulgaris are the ones putting the money up, with Perkins putting up the largest amount ($100k of the $200k total, I believe).
Very interesting. However, it will likely be revoked if nobody comes forward to claim it within a few days.
I do wonder if Bryan is weighing his options here.
Nick Vertucci starting to crack up a bit.
He's now offering to fund defamation lawsuits against those questioning the DGAF guy -- in this case Allen Kessler.
https://twitter.com/NickVertucciNV/s...18809804492800
Haralabob is NOT a fan!
https://twitter.com/haralabob/status...53780569071616
Ten days in and there's still zero evidence of cheating. The only significant development in that time is the discovery that two guys took her chips that day when they shouldn't, not one. The poker community would have overwhelming circumstantial evidence by now if Robbi and/or others were cheating on that stream. Like they did in the Postle case. I'm bored of it now and will be tuning-out of the coverage. Good luck attracting wealthy women onto HS poker games after this embarrassing mess.
Long time production coordinator at HCL & LATB prior apparently quit/fired recently. Not sure. Guys speaking in riddles.

So anyone else thinking about how if Beanz knows hes heading to prison because he already plead guilty to this charge, then he probably would be more willing to cheat or attempt to cheat, or to do whatever he could to stack some money up before he heads to prison, maybe thinking even if i get caught doesnt matter ill already be in prison, etc, etc...
"Bryan"has just posted on 2+2
Here is what he posted, I copied and pasted it, link at bottom of post:
"Garrett Adelstein is WRONG about THE POKER CHEATING SCANDAL...
PREFACE
I LOVED Hustler Casino Live, I DID NOT COLLUDE WHATSOEVER WITH Robbi Jade Lew, Rip, or Beanz to cheat you Garrett. WHY THE **** WOULD I CHOOSE WHAT I KNOW WOULD BE ONE OF OUR HIGHEST VIEWED STREAMS TO CHEAT the most talented and beloved cash game player in the world. That's the most asinine **** that I've ever heard of. To whoever is reading this just think about that; Why would I cheat the smartest player in the game in front of the thousands watching concurrently + the MILLIONS who would see it after. Excuse my language but that's just plain out ****ING STUPID!. You should greatly reconsider what you think are facts in this case because you're absolutely wrong about me rigging the game. I had the upmost respect for the integrity of the game and I admired all of the people that came on the show. Including you dude! That's lame that you would even blame me when I looked up to your stupid ass!!!! I wouldn't wanna cheat you, nor anyone ever.
BREAKDOWN OF THE CHEATING FROM MY PERSPECTIVE
If I were to cheat the game why would I pick Jc4h? IT MAKES ZERO SENSE
You said it yourself; without even knowing the card removal you know that
"Jc4h on ThTc9h3c has very little equity vs the overwhelming majority of semi-bluffing hands, let alone all my made hands which have her dead."
LINK - > https://twitter.com/GmanPoker/status...709888/photo/1
I'm not dumb, I play poker, I know that! + I have the card removal percentages LIVE! Why on earth would I pick a spot to signal someone to MAGICALLY HERO with "Jc4h on ThTc9h3c" THATS SUSS AS ****, IT JUST MAKES NO SENSE. YES SHE'S AHEAD TECHNICALLY, BUT SHE'S A DOG WITH ONLY 1 CARD TO COME. It's -EV
The Time I Asked About How To Cheat In Chess On Twitter
Yeah so 9/11 I asked Asian Andy about Hans Nieman and Magnus Carlsen situation. News was circulating that there was Chess Cheating Scandal but I wasn't sure how considering the game is played on a table and my only thoughts were did the guy take the piece when the other guy wasn't looking. So I asked my buddy Asian Andy "How do you cheat in chess? Serious question lol"; it's not that deep bro , sorry to tell ya . I followed Alexandra Botez and a bunch of other chess streamers and I saw the news and was curious so I tweeted . The fact that this so called "relevant information" is part of your hypothesis is starting to making your argument flawed
YOU SAYING
"This potentially incriminating tweet could suggest Bryan wanted to learn how to relay hole card information using the same systems people use cheat in chess." DEBUNKED

What Doug Polk Said About The Mysterious Filing Cabinet.
"Doug Polk has reported in the below video that a file cabinet had been moved closer to his desk, moving his desk to the side approximately 3-4 weeks ago. Brian's desk is now directly behind an area where all of the hole cards can be seen in real time, with a filing cabinet blocking the vision of a camera facing in that direction."
LINK-> https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...-live-1813491/
THIS NARRATIVE IS COMPLETELY FALSE. I DID NOT MOVE ANYTHING THAT WOULD CHANGE MY PERSPECTIVE. IF I WANTED TO SEE THE REAL TIME HOLE CARDS I COULD HAVE SEEN THEM FROM WHERE I WAS SITTING AT ANYTIME FROM ANYWHERE IN THE ROOM. THERE ARE 10 MONITORS IN THE ROOM AND YOU CAN SEE THE HOLE CARDS IN THE PROGRAM FEED WHICH EVERYONE WORKING IN PRODUCTION CAN SEE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE GRAPHICS COMPUTER IN ORDER TO SEE THE REAL TIME HOLE CARDS. So that fact that you're insinuating that I moved my desk closer to the corner to get closer to where the hole cards are is ABSOLUTELY WRONG. I moved my dest because we don't have sufficient enough space in the Hustler Casino Live control room to move around. WE ARE ELBOW TO ELBOW everytime someone wants to walk through and anyone who's been up there an extensive amount of time can confirm what I'm saying is accurate and correct. It's like a NYC kitchen up there.
What I did was move the table so that the charging equipment was flush against the wall so I can use the bigger desk when I bring my computer to make videos and so we have more space to walk through. Now this is a #FreezingColdTake
Reports of A Yell
"It's also reported that Bryan verbalized a yell of sorts upon seeing Robbi hand the $135K in chips back to Garrett."
LINK-> https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...-live-1813491/
THIS IS A BLATANT LIE. NOBODY SAW ROBBI HAND YOU BACK THE CHIPS YOU'RE LITERALLY MAKING **** UP. OUR CAMERAS CAN'T SEE WHERE THEY WERE SINCE THEY WERE BY THE LOCKERS. I WAS DIRECTING THE SHOW. I CAN ONLY SEE WHAT THE CAMERAS SHOW. When Ryan Feldman went to go check on the situation I was controlling the cameras. EVERYONE IN PRODUCTION CAN VOUCH FOR ME. Mike Peluso knows that and Neve Levy knows that . I did not witness any exchange of any chips between you two. RIP got mad that she gave the chips back and started screaming ruining the ****ing production because it stopped the game when it's one of our hightest viewed streams. I didn't want to have to stop the show, So I GOT MAD AND YELLED AT LUIS (FLOORMAN) Get this ****ing ******* out of here , call security or something because he can't be yelling while we're ****ing filming. and I also yelled "WE HAVE A ****ING SHOW" probably the yell he referred to according to his bullshit investigation.
Did you ever stiff an online game?
-A source messaged me saying “Just an FYI, that guy Bryan Sagbigsal stiffed my online game for a couple thousand. Not much, and he was vouched, so we didn't have to eat it, but the story makes sense for him.
LINK -> https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...-live-1813491/
This is just complete slander campaign. I'VE NEVER STIFFED. Many people know me in poker and I have never stiffed a single person. Whoever said that is a liar
other details
1. I've been texted by Shaun Deeb, Doug Polk, and joeingram in conjuction with (Bill Perkins/Haralobos) in regards to the $215k+ reward if a whistle is blown in regards to the cheating. in an effort to restore the integrity of poker. That's more money than I've ever had in my entire life. I really need that money. The problem is... I didn't cheat. I didn't assist anyone. There is no whistle to be blown because I didn't take part in any cheating ring. At this point I wish I actually did cheat so I could collect that reward but the honest answer from the bottom of my heart is I didnt' help anyone!
2. I'm about 90% sure Robbi didn't cheat. Do I believe her when she says she's innocent? Yes, but there's this small part of me that doesn't know if she's sophisticated enough to hack Hustler Casino Live's graphics server in order to gain access to the real time hole cards. but one thing I can say for certain is I didn't help Robbi or Rip or Beanz or anyone involved in this dumb scandal to cheat. If I did, I would've asked for more than $15k, (like seriously the audacity that little amount is worth it. $15k is nothing) I would've picked a less suspect spot than J4 and I wouldn't have chose Robbi to be my horse if that was the case. There's so many other people that I could've chose why I would pick her. It makes zero sense

It would be nice to get a quick explanation of this hand gesture from Lauren (The Dealer). It can very much be an innocent signal to production. But she has an earpiece on, and of course the easiest way to transmit hole card info would be through that. Anyone heard any explanation on this?
I think it could have something to do with the shot clock or collection, who knows. She would also be signaling right in front of Garrett’s face. Would be nice to just put this one to bed if it’s a simple explanation rather than letting it breathe.
https://twitter.com/Kaylynn1011/stat...8pBoVHJzTjJDVw
There’s a lot in this guy Brian’s statement but right off the bat, no one said his cut was 15K. If he was involved, I’m sure his cut would of been larger than that for sure. But palming 3 chips as opposed to 10 is a lot easier to do. So just because he took 15 K means absolutely nothing regarding him being involved in cheating or not.
Bryan's random capitalisation reminds me of a Trump campaign email
JeffDime I appreciate all the work you've done for the game and I've considered you a trustworthy source for spot-on reporting, but you are gradually slipping off the rails in this conversation. There's enough unsubstantiaed sprculation in this thread without you adding to it. You used to be all about the facts.
Well there’s my answer. I wondered how long it would take for somebody to go after lauren the dealer. JFC people are literally grasping at straws to point fingers at. We’re approaching ridiculous here. The problem with vast conspiracies as is well known the more people involved the harder it is for somebody not to crack and expose the whole thing.
I agree that what Lauren did is most likely innocuous. She’s wearing a mask and can be telling Garrett it’s his action or whatever else. My point is I think it would be helpful to just state what she meant. It’s a unique motion for sure. Would be nice to clear it up. This shit is out there I’m not trying to stir the pot.
Look, I appreciate the kind words and understand the criticism. Truth is this is very difficult. I don’t think I have gone too far in my commentary, at least in the post you quoted. What struck me about his statement was Bryan making the point that 15K would not be a big enough take for him to be involved. I simply stated that palming 10 chips (50 K as an example) would be basically half a stack. So the fact he only palmed 3 is irrelevant to me.
I assume your speaking of other posts. I mean, that’s what I think. That most likely there was a conspiracy here between the three at least. That is where I am at. I’m not a journalist (Aside from taking 101 in college), I am just a poster, like yourself, on this site. If I was a journalist, I wouldn’t post anything like that. But maybe I shouldn’t anyways. Like I said, it’s tough. I appreciate you not just going hard on me. Although I think “off the rails” is a bit strong. But then again, maybe I’m going batshit.
The last point I’ll make is there has never been anything quite like this since I started posting on this site. Things are so fluid. But perhaps I have been just a bit off & lazy in my posting. Which I do take pride in trying to make what I consider good posts. I’m a real empathetic person. I try to only take digs on people who deserve it. Sometimes I fail in that as well.
For instance, I saw the posts about Lauren and my main concern was getting her name cleared ASAP. That my belief is if it’s an innocent thing, why not put it out right away and squash it. If some theory/clip is being shared on Twitter to thousands, than I think sharing it here makes sense.
Since I started the Christopher Mitchell thread and made a few shitty videos, I have got in touch with a few people. One in particular has tons of connections in the gambling world. So I have presented some information he has fed me on this site from time to time and he’s batting as close to 1,000 as possible. But once again, this situation is so unique and we’re all speculating to some extent.
As for my bias here, I don’t have any. Just like in poker not everyone can win (Unless you get lucky and hit a Bad Beat Jackpot). I wanted Garrett to be wrong & the money returned the next day and that’s about it. But imho it doesn’t look like that’s ever going to happen. I would love for this all to be resolved tomorrow. But it’s not happening.
That being said, I’ll work on it. Thanks and be well.
Just to clarify one point with Lauren. The reason I brought it here and said it would be best to squash this thing ASAP, is because she does have that earpiece. The dealers are told in real time if someone’s card aren’t reading. They have a direct line to those looking at hole cards in real time. So I’m not casting aspersions on her, I am simply saying because of those factors, it’s my opinion that an explanation should be given before this thing gets any more oxygen.
BTW if you, or any other poster/lurker is going to be in AC anytime soon slide into the PMs. I am buried this year, but can still afford to buy you a free drink or two.
Nick Vertucci put out a podcast this morning. He was interviewed by Veronica Brill.
They were talking about Bryan, the guy that stole the 15k.
Nick said, “At one point I have had over 100 employees, and I have NEVER done a background check”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-x2Fg7T5Nkw
I personally don’t see anything wrong with the situations that you brought up. In my opinion “speculation” is what makes a forum and its threads interesting. I speculate all the time in the threads within the scam section of this forum. I think something that is important for the casual readers of these threads to realize is that often times when a poster speculates on something that it doesn’t mean they think it actually happened or that it is even likely to have happened. As posters we just throw “what if’s” out there as a possibility. Many times, In this section of the forum I post scenarios frequently that I know have a 1% chance or less of actually being what has occurred. If we throw out 100 theories all with a 1% chance of being true, then the truth is likely somewhere within the 100 theories - it’s just a matter of finding which one it is and that is part of what makes posting and interacting on forums interesting in my opinion.
With Nick's past as a known scammer who cheated so many people out of their life savings, can you Todd or others please explain why this man seemingly gets no pushback from Polk, Ingram or Berkey? I mean, obv I'm not saying he is in on this cheating scandal yet but should it be surprising to anyone that this is happening on a stream that he owns? It just fits the pattern with this guy. He also plays on his own streams all the time and for someone with not a lot of poker experience over the years, he's a really big winner.
I'm sorry it just doesn't add up for me with Vertucci at all. This guy should be a part of the focus imo on this cheating scandal. He's shady as fuck.
The more I hear about Robbi and her relationship with her husband Charles Lew, I have come to the conclusion that he is the “Rich” one. I would be absolutely shocked if he did not have a prenuptial agreement with Robbi protecting his assets. They have been married for 10 years. The way she talks about him in the LA Times article is as if everything belongs to him. She says, “He owns several restaurants”, instead of “We own”. There is a good chance he is very private about his money even with her, and he spoils her to a certain extent. I believe he knows she is not faithful and just deals with it. The night before the J4 incident she was out getting hammered for 7 hours with 2 other dudes.
Reformdorm, I was saying in the rep under your post that Nick’s other business selling real estate courses is generally looked at as a scammy business. If someone pays him 30k for his course and they are unable to make money, that person automatically thinks it’s Nicks fault that they didn’t make what they had hoped and now he is a “scammer”. To my knowledge, there is no real proof of a scam, just several unhappy customers. Anytime there is that much money exchanged, occasionally someone will think they were cheated and weren’t given the value that they have paid for. I heard he is bringing in 8 figures per year with these courses, with that kind of volume there will be some people that just are not cut out for real estate.
I said something similar on radio, though I was less direct about it.
I think it's very possible that her husband keeps his money out of her grasp, and while he buys her nice things, he doesn't just give her access to big cash to spend. Recall that this is a fairly recent marriage, and presumably he made the vast majority of his money before they were together.
I think that's the reason she was staked. It's also the reason why the excuse of "she doesn't need the money, why would she cheat?" doesn't really fly.
You have a point. The Real Estate Seminar stuff is gross. They max out people’s credit cards (a lot elderly) and leave these people in a much worse/desperate situation as before they did it. Reading BBB complaints it looks like he used the pandemic to kind of take the money & close up shop
I can already figure what Nick would say. He was teaching them valuable advice and he will say it with 100% conviction. The FTC has seemingly allowed this stuff to go on forever. Three things at play…
1) The business was not part of the gambling world.
2) May be unethical but looks to be legal. Blatantly cheating people out of money on something you own would be far worse.
3) Hate to say it but “It is what it is”. Nick has done the seminar bullshit. Poker players aren’t going to boycott his product because of that.
At this point it something Nick has to live with. Both when he looks in the mirror & any possible further legal action. Looks like his company is closed up and it’s tough for those seeking justice. I think that business is what really made Nick his wealth. I don’t give him a pass. It’s not like this happened a long time ago. Complaints were coming in this year. It can be talked about until we’re blue on the face. I just don’t see anything being done.
* Just a quick addition. Nick mentioned never doing background checks on employees. Well, if you are selling a product with basically unlimited supply, such as “knowledge”, then an overwhelming percentage of your employees will be your sales force. You have openers who get the first money procured, then your up-sell force which really goes for the kill. You are not going to give a shit about these people’s past. They are usually totally on commission. If they can sell & are not currently incarcerated, that’s typically good enough.
Despite all that, I would bet it all that Nick wasn’t involved. He’s no dummy.
Yes, I think it's reasonable to find out what was going on with Lauren the dealer.
Regarding Bryan's rambling statement, it's a bunch of bullshit. Interesting to read, but not worth thinking much about. I don't believe anything he has to say. Remember that haughty message on September 30 on Twitter, telling us how secure the stream is? This was before he was caught stealing.
I think the kid doth protest too much.
Kessler pointed this one out.
I "wouldn't not" believe that this was written by two different people.
:fraudalert
You can’t put it past anyone to cheat, personally without knowing anything about these 2 dealers including Lauren. I would be very surprised if they cheated. The amount of tips she makes is OUTRAGEOUS. Do you ever notice when players tip, many times the camera goes to something else?
In the high limit game with Mikki, I saw many hands Lauren got $100 or $200 per hand.
25 hands per hour times 5 hours = 125 hands x $15 per hand = $1,875 in tips per stream. This is just during the stream. The gravy train usually continues off stream. I think there is a slim chance any of these on stream dealers mess this up.
i dont know this person, but when big tips are floating around people dealing have all the incentive in the world to cheat for whoever is tipping the most. this happens constantly in texas where none of the dealers need to have a criminal background check and a license.
I've got to think that Robbi used her down time this weekend to meet with lawyers and her publicist. And practicing for her upcoming lie detector test.
Will be interesting to see if the polygraph test goes forward.
https://www.wikihow.com/Cheat-a-Poly...(Lie-Detector)
As for the text message she supposedly got from Bryan telling her how honest he thinks she is (even though she claims they don't know each other) and how toxic and bad HLC is and whinny Garrett is, who knows what the heck is going on. Just add it to the long list of things that Robbi does not appear to have been fully truthful about.
This story was mentioned on public service tv-news in Sweden this morning. Very surprising.
I wouldn’t not be surprised if Nick Vertucci has or will threaten druff to take down posts in this thread.
I have what I think is an original theory about how this could have been done.
Hustler has surveillance cameras in the ceilings throughout the casino. Are there cameras in the ceiling of the production/control room? If so then the Hustler casino surveillance people would have been able to see the real time monitors showing the cards. The surveillance people still had their phones and could have transmitted real time card values to someone.
I was watching the game live and watched Joey Ingram after the HCL show. I decided then that Robbi didn't cheat. I have watched most of the stuff since then.
I still do not think Robbi cheated.
I doubt there will ever be proof of cheating.
On yesterday’s podcast Nick referred to the company that he brought in costing a “Hundred Ball” aka $100k.
Regardless of the extent of what occurred here, it seems Hustler Casino Live was a victim of it’s own success. Ryan Feldman was crushing with the lineups and taking care of all that horse trading behind the scenes. He was also directing the show. Nick was selling sponsorships, putting out fires and I’m sure numerous other things. Nick was also playing in the game a few times a week.
This blind spot with security/game integrity opened up. How far and when it started, we don’t know yet. It’s the least sexy part of the whole operation and it’s not cheap. Nick is paying for it now. But if handled correctly, I think they will eventually get back on course. The worst it was the longer that will take.
It also seems there was probably some morale issues with certain employees. That kind of stuff is not always indicative of poor management. Especially in today’s society, you see a lot of morale issues with work especially on the lower end of the pay spectrum.
Berkey is firing…
https://twitter.com/berkey11/status/...-Hfl5iykdL6axw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrWXH0jaD8w
It’s clear that the last thing they want to do is go dark. I understand not waiting for the full investigation. I think they should of at least shut down one week to sort out the game integrity stuff. I know they desperately don’t want to do that, but I think that would of been a better play in the long run.
The California Department of Justice is who oversees the “Bureau of Gambling Control”. They are the ones who deal with the licensing, regulations, and disciplinary actions.
Any employee who is working in a Cardroom in California must have a “Work Permit”. Even waiters, drink runners, and maintenance need a Work Permit.
I have a STRONG feeling, after this The DOJ will change the rules. When they implemented the rules, they likely never thought of this situation. There is no question Bryan would have not received a “Work Permit” with his criminal history.
Applying the same rules to HCL’s employees that are applied to all other card rooms/casino employees in the state will greatly reduce the possibility of cheating, theft, collusion, ect.
Huge mistake by the DOJ, fortunate loophole for HCL.
