Yup... looks like fascism is indeed here in the ol' US of A.
Free speech is the natural enemy of fascism. Which party has been more in favor of free speech in the past 10 years?
authoritarian (which party has been telling citizens what they can and can't do in recent years?)
What, you mean like restricting abortion, or banning books, or taking over Disney because Disney disagreed with some idiotic draconian anti-gay policies?
characterized by a dictatorial leader (who has been signing a ton of executive orders, and trying to take control of states' rights?)
like Donald Trump and the 220 EO he issued? The funny thing is that number of EO actually tracks for a two-term president as it looks like the average is around 280 per president; however as we all know and trump can't admit, he lost the last election so he basically pumped out twice the executive orders of his predecessors. Or perhaps like Ron DeSantis who has taken over Disney World promising to end the making of anything to do with wokeness, which most republicans can't even define?
forcible suppression of opposition (cancel culture, demands that social media companies suppress opposing opinions and studies)
you mean when someone does some dumb shit like use racist slurs or acts homophobic and other people decide not to endorse them or use their services anymore? Or do you mean like passing a bill outlawing one political party? Or do you mean like making drag shows felonies? also if a social media company has terms and services and decides they don't want someone on their platform isn't that their choice to make? I mean you banned Jewdonk and 6toedpete, should they be unbanned now since it is just an obvious case of forcible suppression of opposition?
belief in a natural social hierarchy (follow the woke dictates or lose your job)
has there ever been a time when there was NOT a natural social hierarchy? and follow the woke dictates, well again you guys can't really define woke in the first place, but it has more to do with respecting a person's choices than pushing some mandate. If someone that was born a man wants to be referred to as something else, well that is a decision that they made and you could just fucking respect it because it has no bearing on your life. but nahhhhhh, which is funny though because I'm sure if people referred to you as a woman that you would get offended after awhile, you would probably get all mad and rightfully so. You have probably never had to struggle with that though, so to you it's just some foreign concept because you get respect by default.
subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation (COVID lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine madates)
Yeah the lockdowns, mandates, and vaccine mandates that you republican motherfuckers absolutely fucking ignored for the last 3 years. Not really a strong argument my guy
strong regimentation of society and the economy (large companies pressured to repeat the woke ideology or they suffer)
I'm gonna tell you something about capitalism, large companies don't give a fuck about woke culture. They do give a fuck about profits, and nowadays they give a fuck about not pissing off any customers/potential customers.
Free speech is the natural enemy of fascism. Which party has been more in favor of free speech in the past 10 years?
Which party is banning books again, and not just banning books but passing bills with criminal penalties just for having certain books again? Which party passed the bill that was nicknamed the "Don't say gay bill" because it put restrictions on what teachers could talk about in the classroom? Also I'm actually getting sick and tired of hearing conservatives talk about how restricted they are in their speech and how they don't get to deliver their message anymore. No, you don't get to say a bunch of ignorant shit without repercussions anymore. You can still say whatever the fuck you want, y'all niggas are just mad because it's not socially acceptable to use racist slurs and shit as openly as you would like anymore.
wow like at those republicans protecting free speech
